To have already enacted “Revoke Privilegia “ reform doesn’t matter that much. As you are playing as Austria, the Diplomatic Juggernaut, diplo-vassalization over small nations inside and outside the empire would be easy for you.

@@jakubmlynarski1951 Some people are born billionaires and how "Lucky" and "Unlikely" is that? Getting Hungarian PU is 1/2 chance and Burgundy as emperor is very likely. The only part that can be considered somewhat "Lucky" was having Habsburgs on Castile early on. The rest is not luck. Just OP Austrian mission trees that shower players with PU CBs.

My last playthrough with austraia i've got about 3 rundom PU over France and few other nations . No savescum for me. Austria may be have just more chanses for PU and its in the code of game.

@@jakubmlynarski1951 He's right though. Burgundian inheritance isn't lucky, it happens all the time, the hungarian PU is 50/50 and even the Castillian Throne isn't luck. If you have a royal marriage with Castille as Austria there is a very good chance of getting a habsburg om the throne. Castille gets an event where they can choose to have a Habsburg if i remember correctly.

about the AI targetting the weakest link... thats exactly the reason why nations like swiss or savoy are such great allies in early and mid game... the favors build up super fast and the enemy AI will exghaust trying to siege all those mountainforts

Yeah figured this out myself today after struggling to play byzantium after they removed the sell crownland bug i eventually realised if i just ally hungary and trebizond they will usually attack the anatolian minors before me giving me time to build up favors with hungary and when i attack they’ll be too busy attritioning in trebizond land while i siege the balkans that when they come back it’s just stepping back and waiting for them to cross the strait to lock them in the balkans with my fleet

not so much these days the hungary PU that he did in the video is a 25% chance, unless you force it, in which case you get crazy AE PUing milan is a death sentence if you get the event early, as it expires, otherwise more AE they have nerfed imperial authority to hell, so actually getting to the point of revoking the priveligia is a pain, he got crazy lucky with nations joining left and right, and managing to release nations outside the empire to expand on realistically all you can get is bohemia and at a push milan before 1500, unless you get ridiculously good RNG like he did in the video

I pretty much started my Austria game exactly as you did, but it's 1490 and not one of the Italian or Balkan minors has joined the HRE. Is there a way to help encourage them to do so BEFORE the third reform gives me a cassus belli to make them join?

Your country needs to have a good opinion on them, you can choose a friendly attitude on them to slowly up it or/and ally them. If doesnt works , war on them. (sry about my english)
