African Power was my favourite run ever, now that you get colonies connecting to Mutapa it seems way less gimmicky (I think I did it at 1.28 or 1.29).

I feel ashamed now thx. In my run I've got to the north part of Africa at 1580. And yes it means I had to battle strogner Mamluks. It went well until Potugese and Spanish alies attacked me. :-/ I managed to win, but it cost a LOT. and Otto now owns provinces in Egypt. This achievement will be hard to get.

Wow! Very impressive. I remember doing this run myself not too long ago, and well, since I'm no where near as chad as you are, it took me a fair bit longer. I had finally beaten Ottomans and took all the provinces in Africa. Cored them up. No achievement. God damn Sinai.. WHAT? Why is that classed as Africa? I'll never know.. Anyway, of course I had to fight Otto again, and about 2 million people died so that I could have that piece of desert. Every source I've checked say that Sinai is a part of Asia, but hey.. Whatever..

Sinai is technically part of Africa geo-politically because Sinai is a historical province of Egypt, so the Mamaluke Sultanate's land includes that section so it would be grouped into the achievement.

How do you not get rebellions everywhere? Any time I conquer a lot of provinces in one go, I get like 10-15 different rebellions brewing. But I see at 6:10 you got all those lands in 9 years and no rebellions, but 1 stability and three armies(4k + 4k + 3k) fighting in wars with only 2k manpower, and no forts in every state. Doesn't the AE add to unrest massively + the time it takes to core the provinces + devastation etc.?

I jad a massive amount of rebels and had a dedkcated army to kill them the entire run. Early game didnt get many rebels cause of the fetishist aspect i chose and unrest reduction advisor

At 8:31 Ludi is showing stability and expansion screen with a governing capactiy (GC) of 207/400 with 23 States. Can someone please explain HOW THE H*LL? I have almost similar provinces at that point with 13 States/15 Territories but are at 406/400 GC. Why is Ludi getting so few GC from his provinces/states?

good question! I didnt make full cores out of all of those states, 80% of them were still territories since I didnt pay the extra admin to make it a full state core. You can see me scrolling and almost everything is not a full core yet except the starting lands plus a few early conquest lands!
