Children of the Atom's theme for Magneto is by far my favorite of his themes. I like the others as well, but there's just something so tragic about his COTA theme, that I can't help but sympathize with his character and his cause, even if his methods are completely batshit. Capcom really knew how to capture the characters with music. Let's hope this continues in MvC:I. :)

Even then Magneto can still Manipulate the wooden. People don't understand that Magneto can manipulate the Electro-magnetic Spectrum but also can also can manipulate the fundamental elements when he goes further. Magneto is a Walking Unfied Field Theory. Wooden Gun is nothing to him.

That is technically true. Magneto built a space station called Avalon and stayed there with his Acolytes. Magneto attempt to transport all mutants to his Avalon and then 'manipulate the magnetic field on Earth' to kill all remaining humans on Earth. X-Men enter Avalon to save Earth from Magneto's wrath, while other villain (Spiral, Omega Red, etc) have their personal agenda.

I think X-Men vs Street Fighter theme has the coolest and most iconic opening. I trembled whenever he came on screen and that song would play. Marvel vs Capcom 3 remix sort of is all right but nothing compared to the original hard ass electric guitar opening.

The order of these tracks are also the order of best to what I will say as sub-par, which is in my opinion... 1. Avalon (X-Men COTA) - Before he was a favorite character in the control of players, Magneto was a Boss. This theme represents what its really like to face the Master of Magnetism when he let's loose! Best theme imo. 2. MSH - I usually call it his 'Asteroid M' theme. It's a very good tune which fits his stage well. 2nd best to nxt to Avalon. 3. XvsSF - It's OK, not as good.

That takes a lot of strain for him to do and he can only make you pass out, he can't kill you with it. It's been explored in the comic. The iron in your blood is very small, you'd be surprised on how small an amount is.

Still, making you pass out gives him enough for him to do irreparable harm to you or place you in constraints, take you to one of his secret bases and have his robotic nanny feed you like an infant while he sits back and gloats about how superior he is to you. Nowadays he just gets away while your knocked out cuz he’s an X-Man and such.

I agree. Though i think the XvsSF theme was actually good, but more for a random battle with "villain" Magneto. Avalon being the theme i would use for "Fatal Attractions" era uber Magneto. MSH is good for anti-hero Magneto/modern Extinction team Mags or his Asteroid M stage theme. I place them in the same order as you though.

Over time my views have changed about the MvC3 version of the tune, I've grown to kinda like it despite its somewhat irritating synth but now but I love the custom mash-up some guy did that's on KZbin here also. @maverickhunter1996 I think they didn't use this theme, is because, Avalon has a "Final Boss" feel to it. He's not a final boss in MvC 3, so they didn't choose Avalon. Still a bullshit move, but at least they didn't choose his MSH theme.

Finally about his MvC3 theme, it's to me just his X-vsSF theme a bit remixed, but still doesn't rank as good as the first 2. In fact I am not big into MvC3's sound percussion, with its beeps and squeaks and clubbish production. What best fits Magneto is something menacing and melancoly enough to fit his ideology. He's a villain, so you never give him something that sounds too goofy or upbeat.
