You can keep the blue death beetles with your desert scorpion. They eat her poop and roach parts left over after a feeding. The scorpion will not hurt them and has no interest in them. They will also share the hide.

I used to have a bearded dragon when I was younger , I did not take proper care of him , thankfully my mother had a friend at work that was willing to take him and he thrived and ended up being healthier and happier. My beardie (bearded dragon) died about a year ago now and was my first reptile I ever had and the only one for that matter and he was great, ate well and never bit anyone. So it makes me sad to say that because I got it when I had no real idea of how to care for this animal he was not a very happy lizard, he was healthy enough to last a full lifespan of about 8.5 years and was the perfect lizard, I will look after my beardies and other reptiles better in the future and hope that spiko is in a better place now. I would easily recommend this species to anybody looking at starting a collection of any kind of terreriam animals as it gives a decent idea of how to look after other similar animals more effectively.

The Dark Den. I love your collection and videos. I am a Chameleons keeper by myself. I do have one question though. As you started your video the lights were off, right?Then your mistking went on on the panther enclosure. Do you mist it at night? As far as my knowledge in chams keeping goes, your last mist should be enough time before the lights goes off for the enclosure to dry out.

I´m definitely one of those "fear to fascination" individuals you mentioned. I never thought I could sit and watch so many spiders and bugs because I think I have a mild form of Entomophobia. But I did watch it all and although my fascination mostly lies with reptiles, fish and other exotic animals - I found this interesting and I got to give you some admiration for all the enclosures you build and that caring touch you seem to have with all your animals. Your LED's are fading intensity. Which means their lifespan is shortening. My suggestion would be by your components separate and assemble your lights yourself. What a lot of people don't know is that their aren't many patents held for LED board design. (Last I heard there was only 1, held by NASA) Buy good quality boards, and a decent controller and you'll be set for at least 4-5 years. Your housings for them can be completely custom made out of almost anything, LED's give off almost no heat.

For the sand spiders u should make one large desert enclosure but split into three sections (one for each spider) so it would be a kind of communal setup for a non communal species

Dude you have next level enclosures!!! So awesome! Your chameleon enclosure is just the best , I love how it's open and really everything about it but especially how the branches come out past the sides into the room that is just next level , now only if he will stary using them. I'm sure in time he will. Give it time as you know.
