Caiman Lizards are so beautiful and fascinating. I first saw them at Brookfield Zoo and was immediately infatuated with them. They have extremely specialized diets (snails) and environmental requirements (Very large semi-aquatic) making them unsuitable for keeping outside of the most experienced keepers. @KressRudra4 жыл бұрын
@@metamorphosisx6641 if you want you can do that but for planted tanks its not really necessary as plants will simply break down the waste and use it as nutrients, which will be further aided by the nitrifying bacteria. it would just be for aesthetics, especially if you plan to use light-colored sand like in the video in which case waste might stand out more in. either way you wouldn't require siphoning more than once every few weeks or months depending on how planted your set up is and how you prefer the look of the tank

You should get the pure freshwater archer fish for the tank, the species is toxotes blythii, they need pure freshater and rarely get to be a max of 6 inches in captivity. Just make sure if you get some, to not get 2 because one will bully the other to death. SO either 1 or more than 2;)

We can, and do, build them with doors on the sides with a solid pane on the front panel, but we have not done one that way on a tank this large yet. Most of the orders we get for this style with side-access doors are for vivariums.
