The First Descendant is a looter shooter game that combines RPG play with third-person shooter combat. It presents beautiful visuals and attractive and unique characters based in a sci-fi style PVE. The final playtest just concluded and it allowed us to expereience every descendant available. This video is a quick overview of each one!

would have been better to have a character customisation option and than just select a build based on one of the descendants that way we don't get tired of seeing the same 12 or so faces plus it allows us to make our characters feel more unique or something

@@ocktowi5317 just saw another video showing you buy skins and then you can buy resources to unlock paints but you don’t choose the paint you get, you spin a wheel. So you pay to gamble for paint colors 😂😂😂 people gonna be running csgo loot boxes for colors 😂😂

Is it me, or do all the characters seem a bit lackluster? All three are based on Lepic, just with ice, fire, and poison. Also, I can't help notice to see the battle pass :D

It may look like that but you can feel the difference in characters. For instance, Bunny is very OP. Her low defense is compensated for by her speed and utility. Ajax feels nothing like Kyle even though their both tanks. Some characters feel like filler tho, like the water one (I didn’t use her). Yeah I don’t know how monetization will work in this game since they gave everything to us for free during early access. I would assume you would have to buy the battle pass for more skins, more xp etc.

When I plaued the beta. Valby the water girl was really good and alot of people rated her extremely high for the colossus bosses because her kit is based around debuffing and those debuffs make her very valuable on a team.

Cant wait! Hope they fixed the frame issues on console. The fps was dropping way too much during the survival missions

I only was able to play on PC. The frame issues from the first test to the most recent are night and day. It was running really smooth. Hopefully that translates well to console too

I playtested Viessa, Bunny, Jayber, Freyna, Gley and Valby. My favorite was Bunny by far! I love the really fast gameplay she has. 2nd fav would be Viessa, I like the freezing and slowing down enemies and it really helped out a lot and right after on 3rd I'd say Freyna. I couldn't really get into playing Jayber (he looks cool tho) but idk.. maybe I just played way to less to judge but he felt kinda weak and unspectacular lol. I also couldn't really get into the playstyle of Gley and Valby. I saw a few really op Valby's tho that's why I tried her out, but yea.. didn't really like the playstyle, same for Gley (she looked kinda unspectacular too). Other than that.. I think Sharen and Blair look cool. I planned to pick Viessa again and unlock Bunny, Freyna and Blair (probably in this order xD) along the way. Maybe one of the tanks (or the healer that will release? I lnormally play heal/support in other games).

Yeah, I agree. I tried out 5 of the characters but found myself going back to bunny. All of her attacks are perfectly balanced.

It was a tech demo this time around, to test the stability and performance before launch, not like the other tests where we got to test all the gameplay mechanics and characters extensively. :)

Didn't go over any of their passives? I stopped watching because you weren't really going into much other their skill lists, not how they play. Prime example, Bunny. She builds up more super power for her beam the more she sprints, which is a big part of her play style. So...kind of click baity to name your video " all characters explained"

Not necessarily. The tanks are vastly different. Sharon is the only one that can go invisible. Bunny is a speedster with aoe lightning. A few examples but you can feel the difference in the characters when you play them
