May it be and Into the West are my favorite. I've always loved Enya's music and Into the West is a perfect way to end the trilogy with it's mix of emotions in Frodo and Gandalf finally being able to rest but at the same time having to leave friends like Sam and Aragorn behind, it's powerful.

LOTR and The Hobbit are probably the only movies that makes me cry every time i watch them. Not the the character but when i see the beautiful world. Its my escape from these metal blocks that im trapped in. I beleive that I'll wake up in somewhere in shire or revendel between the elfs or maybe a brave and jolly dwarf , when this bad dream of life will end. i really believe .....

This is what Middle Earth is all about. It is what Tolkien is all about. This universum is about The world and characters are The way to show us that World. In ale The books and films we have many great, amazing characters but this fantasy World is just something else. There is not and There will be not The same creator like Tolkien and producer like Peter Jackson

Absolutely. Gollum's song is a masterpiece. Emilliana really put something special in it. And Howard....Well, Howard is Shore:). I like the orchestration the best in Gollums song. So dark and hauntingly beatiful. And lyrics are amazing to.

Even in the songs aswell as the movies, you can just tell the quality of LOTR was just so much higher than the hobbit in every way. When May it Be hit in the theatres back in the day…..unforgettable.

You are SO RIGHT about that. I often regret seeing The Hobbit. Jackson just lost his way somehow. The first 3 books showed love and commitment. The Hobbit showed, "well let's get this done so we can all go home " attitude.

In my case... I prefer The Hobbit. LOTR's strike my memories when I was a Kid. The Hobbit's entirety strike my nerves of my wishes and my regrets. And they bring back the memories of wishing on "going on an aventure!" 🎉🎉🎉
