Fyi, the lowest rank for women Indonesian military (TNI) is 2nd sergeant (serda/ sersan dua) and women police officer (POLRI) is 2nd police brigadier ( bripda)

100% Foreign citizens can join the US Army, good way to get citizenship. I had two Korean in my platoon in basic training. Also, I have KATUSAs attached to my unit at Humphreys in Pyeongtaek. You can contact a recruiter through the Go Army website.

The O-12 was last held a LONG time ago. The pay is what the President makes, as only a President can hold it. (Based on history at least, not sure if that'll ever change).

@@DocGiraffe this is not true. General Pershing held the rank of 6th star general rank. But the pay is the same as a O-10 general plus bonus. As Pershing is a 6 star general but he always wore 4 stars (although his stars were gold and not white). And George Washington is the highest ranking military officer but no where does it say he is a 6th star general. George Washington’s rank is still leutinent general but because he is supposed to be the highest ranked military- and given that we have 6 star generals, logically he had to be 6 star as well. Of course a president is always out ranking all military officers as he is the highest civilian position- thus a POTUS always has a rank of highest military rank+1 star

Basically they are like a in between the officer and Enlisted, so like either enlisted or if the officer wanted to they can put a packet in to be a warrant as well. So they are not necessarily incharge of a certain unit, but they are around to help the unit with anything with their knowledge and experience. A special thing is that a lot of officers decide to put in a packet to be a warrant officer when they branch aviation, because instead of moving up to a command element, they can stay flying. That's like the very minimal but I feel like others can answer better haha.

@@budagen The most simple way to put it, is they only do one task repetitively. You'll never see a Warrant Officer doing a secondary job. Like with what Matthew explained, if they're Aviation, they will only fly. There are multiple jobs Warrant Officers can do, but they can only do one that they expertise in.
