I need to highlight the biggest issue with mobile. LATENCY, STUTTERS, LAG, AND FREEZING. I don't know about any of you, but pocket edition is almost unplayable with how much it stutters, freezes up, lags, etc. And the lag was never a problem BEFORE they added the new controls, so I'm pretty sure they screwed something up there.

it helped my lag (personally) to keep my storage low and not have heavy worlds/resource packs, but ever so often it randomly drops frames then comes back for some reason. i wish bedrock was more optimised than it is

I knew I wasn't the only one, I can relate to pretty much all of these. GOD you have no idea what kind of relief that gives me. I'm glad that Mojang at least tried to fix the issues everyone had with the new controls and them not having enough space.
