The Visigoths were formed when the Goths split up into a western group (Visigoth) and eastern group (Ostrogoth). Originally the Goths were from either Gotland or Götaland in Scandinavia, and moved south in the 1st century AD and had various wars with Rome before splitting in the 4th century. The Visigoths migrated to Spain and the Ostrogoths to Italy.

I already call out : Italy should do good in that scenario considering that it will only have to fight France and Yugoslavia while France, Germany and the Soviet Union will get ganged up (remember that France would also get attacked by Brazil and the raj while the SU would have to tackle all the minors PLUS Japan) and the UK and the US will be locked in a perpetual state of war that will hamper them a bit

I have been playing this game almost non-stop for a while, and from my games *Rome always does terrible*. I have only seen them take the Italian peninsula like 6 out of 140 times. Every single time I take note to record how bad Rome does and what you have in the video is the exact opposite of how it is in my games, Rome never gets that powerful.
