I figured out Spain really good. For going Monarchist Spain, save all PP for the Carlist phase of the civil war and securing 3 extra states. Get as much Army XP as possible early on, save for after civil war is over. Don't take too much territory before the Carlist phase. Preparing offensives is important since it will reduce the ridiculous attack penalty to 0 in the selected state. You'll only have time to secure 3 extra states before the Carlist phase and with those 3 extra states, victory is guaranteed by late 1937. Biggest difficulty is the volunteers from Soviet, Germany and Italy. Encircle and block, good luck destroying those divisions. Secure the capital and all ports. Anarchists are of last concern. Save PP and use army XP for coring most states since they will be occupied when civil war ends. If lucky France and/or Portugal will go monarchist on non historical and can join faction and/or can annex their cores through national focus/war. (Annex during peace deal, release as puppet then do focus)

Spain is actually pretty easy as either faction. Popular front guide: spam concessions (or the cheap ones) and calculate when you can contest, you want to have the nationalists split up in half. Then just pin them and rush burgos to connect with the northern units. Naval invade where african army sprawns, theyll have a lot of their divs alive but no vps. Greater spain guide: have strong garries in the west, mayby something to cut barcelona off. Grab land and stonks, african army naval invades in the southeast and they get overextended. General rule: you wont win by killing their divisions, you will win by encircling them and grabbing land. I was just playing anarchists today on coop, won the first war in mid 1937 and then crackdown took me about a month, finished it in october 37. Now were planning to invade britain and kill france, then probably the germans if anyone cares
