Yeah. Originally Dumbledore was a one-to-one book adaptation, but the actor playing him died, so the roll went to Richard Harris, who did pretty well with what he had. May he rest in peace.

Seeing these animations made me realize that I would love to see the Harry Potter series re-adapted into an animated show, with each book being a season. Another thing that surprised me is that Harry's scar was described as having a lightning bolt shape, here it looks like a more realistic lighting bolt that's actually lighter on his skin rather than darker. This is different from the movies which had it look like a cut in his forehead that has a lightning bolt icon shape. It's just one of those things that you don't realize can be interpreted in a few different ways depending on how you imagine it.

Hermione is a lot more arrogant in the books than in the films. Don't get me wrong Hermione is cool I just don't like the way she treats Sybill Trelawney.

True she could have been more polite about it, though in Hermione’s defence, Trelawney’s not far off from being as incompetent in her subject as Lockhart was in DATDA. She only had two actual prophecies she couldn’t recall happening and Dumbledore mainly kept her on to protect her from Voldemort since they were prophecies about him. Outside of that she just makes up foreboding stuff to get the students to take her seriously.

His only canon characteristics are that has black hair, green eyes, that he's skinny and tall (in the later books). And he wears glasses and has a lightning scar.
