I've been learning English for 3 years now, and even though I consider my level quite solid, I've always been struggling with grammar. I conditioned myself with an English environment and everything I was doing throughout these three years, is just consuming, reading books, listening to podcast, and other things. I can easily express my thoughts but, I am not really assured that I use grammar the right way. Your video lessons are really helpful, and finally, the English language gets more structured in my brain.

Thanks Arnel! This lesson SOLVED a query of mine which I HAVE HAD for quite a long time. Thanks for the example- "Jane 🤷had lived in Canada for 22 years" I realized we can use duration(22 years) with the PAST PERFECT. Until now I was under the impression that to use DURATION(22 years) we must use the PAST PERFECT CONTINUOUS. As in, "Jane had been living in Canada for 2 years." " I HAD BEEN working there for 4 years." "I HAD WORKED there for 4 years." ( PAST PERFECT can also be used to emphasize 4 years duration)

5 years teaching English in University, MA TESOL, 3 BAs and 15+ Grammar classes taken in Spanish. Damn (WOW) good. Quibbles: perfects emphasis time between Start and End. The fence at end is clear, the time of start not shown. I'd add a fence. I have been to France. There is a time before I was not in France, Then there was time I was in France. Then there is now. Segmenting these times shows the start and end and shows definition/meaning of perfects.(Quibble=small complaint.) But, damn this is so good and using real life examples is wonderful. Thank you teacher.
