Hoy me he comprado una Yamaha DTX-6KK, me ha atendido una persona encantadora desde el departamento de Percusión, he podido probar varias baterías in-situ, sin problemas, con un sonido increíble. Estoy encantado con la compra, no me queda nada más que agradecer a todo el equipo de la tienda, la entrega ha sido muy rápida, me han facilitado carros para poderlo llevar a mi vehículo. Un 10!!!!!

I didn't mess with any of the internal settings these were all just the factory sounds

I'm interested in purchasing this kit. Do you find it comfortable to play? I have heard that mesh feels more realistic than rubber pads. What are your thoughts on that?

I think that the DTX6 is fantastic if you can find it for the right price but if you can go up to the DTX8 then its worth the extra for the wooden shells and full mesh pads.

This kit also comes in the TCS model aka silicone pads. I think I want the TCS version.

Hi, I've got a Yamaha DTX6K-X model and I am trying to get the kick sound out of the hi-hat pedal without changing the cymbals into kicks (basically trying to get a double bass via hi hat pedal) Even the Swedish Metal kit is not applying the change Any suggestions?

It’s Not possible do that. You must have a double bass pedal. The high hat is only a hi hat as it should be.

How would you rate this kit vs the Roland td17kvx? I’ve wanted a Roland kit for years, but after only having an acoustic kit for 15 years, this kit sounds incredible right out of the box!! The sounds on this kit sound so much better and more organic to my ears. I’m shocked by how much the quality of e-kits has improved over the last 15 years since I last used one.

I would say that i think the DTX6 holds up very well against the roland equivalent. I will say i think that the sounds on the DTX sound more alive than the roland. The only downside to me is the size of the pads on the DTX, i think that 8 inch pads are a little bit to small at this level. Overall both kits are fantastic and both have their specific markets.

@@achamilton you're hearing real acoustic kit sounds. Not sure about the Rolands though.

Did you have any crosstalk issues with this kit?

there was a slight cross talk on the right crash but it was easily removed when you tweak the settings slightly. hope this helps
