As a fellow woman cyclist who very often doubts herself, I find it so helpful to see how you cope with the lows on your rides. I've started incorporating some of your coping mechanisms into my rides as well and turns out, my mileage is quickly increasing! Thank you for these videos and congratulations on the epic ride!

Us old timers have been drinking from streams for a very long time and we’ve survived but, for reassurance, modern water filters are light and compact. Worth considering. Dehydration takes a long time to recover from. An astonishing achievement, so many miles and hills, and you still managed to film it and tell the story. “Don’t use the same finger,” made me laugh.

Amy you are absolutely legend. I've completed some mega tough challenges serving in the Army, running carrying a heavy Bergen for miles and miles up and over the Pen-Y-Fan for example and been close to tears at the end of some of them, so I know what that feels like. But I don't know if I could've done what you've just done "straight off the bat" that's incredible, and it really sets you apart. Please don't you ever believe that you're not good enough - you're more than good enough, you are exceptional, take it from one who knows - exceptional. Very well done, a big virtual hug and a kiss from me.

Absolutely brilliant Amy. Not just well done, but awesomely well done. This journey of your biking adventures just keeps getting better, and helping you realize that you have always been worthy, no matter what you go through. The high's, the lows, they are all a part of what makes you the woman you are. Just like my daughter who has been, and still is going through some mental health issues, she is also so worthy, even more so because she's still my little girl at the age of 40. With mental health we tend to focus on the negative no matter how well we have done. But when we have time to look back and see how far we have come, we see it is all worth it. So those negative moments become our strength that keep's taking us forward. What a brilliant time you had doing this ride. And what an amazing time we have watching you achieve so much in life. Time to relax and recover a little before the next journey. 👏
