Amy you are frickin hilarious. I'm a mountain biker girlie not a road cyclist but I think we have the same attitude when we ride (brings out the inner child, lots of smiling and singing!) Love your videos - can I ask, or maybe this is a subject for another video, do you have any tips for improving general fitness or could you talk about your fitness journey please? I find you very inspiring and whilst I'm never going to be able to do long distances due to health limitations, I feel inspired by your videos to up my fitness!

Ahhh great to hear that you’re on a bike too, mountain biking is way too scary for me so hats (helmets) off to you! yes it defo brings out the inner child, I sometimes forget people can actually hear me when I’m singing along 😂😂 ohh I’ll make a note to include it in a video 🫶🫶 for me the more miles I’ve done the fitter I’ve got really & I add variety in with some running & strength sessions to prevent injuries. But also resting & eating right (having enough especially enough carbs and balance) has helped too! Ahh it’s lovely to hear that you feel inspired, enjoy your rides & keep smiling through them 🫶

Nice video Amy, you've come so far, not so long ago you were terrified of cobbles, now you're zipping over them! You and Kyle must really practice sitting tight on each other's wheel (aim for half a meter) you will save SO much energy on your long rides. The leader rider MUST maintain a nice smooth power and speed otherwise it can be very scary.

Hiya!! We went with Santini who are the clothing brand that organise the sportive ~ there were lots of people from the UK there who had organised their flights, hotel and a transfer from the airport ☺️ and the warm up ride with Santini the day before everyone was welcome to. I’m sure there are tour companies that do it too though, so everything would be organised for you! I know that Grand Tours Project do it so might be worth sending them an email (say you heard though me you never know they might offer a discount!) ~ for organising yourself, The entries for the sportive next year are open here : www.lastelviosantini.com & there’s lots of cyclists hotels in Bormio ours was great - Hotel Funivia Hope that helps a little!

Unfasten your jersey at the foot of the climb. If the weather is against you unfasten your jersey or jacket and leave the gilet or rain layer fastened. You get a heat exchange thing going. 10€ for that pizza. Fantastic.
