He was an older airsoft veteran and he told me how many people he saw slap the charging handle back into place. He told me it was always usually a bad idea and how he cringed every time someone did it, but geez, you gotta admit, sometimes the temptations to slap are too strong...

For doing the AK reload, I use the indented part of the magazine. Basically I sort of turn the mag to where the left side is facing where the gun is facing. Then, I take the indented part of the mag and push the mag release paddle all the way in. This free-drops the mag to where I can then go to hit it so it flips out of the magwell. Finally, I put the new mag in at an angle and as I push it in I yank it back to ressemble loading an AK mag.
