Interesting how Iotamor has only its left wing and its right eye is burning whereas Pymant has only its right ring and its left eye is burning. I wonder what the lore is behind that?

I think they're based on the Jian! "The Jian [鹣], also known as birds that fly together [比翼鳥], are mythical birds that possess only one eye and one wing. These creatures are born imperfect, and they need to lean against each other and act as one in order to be able to fly. Their mutual dependence is eternal, lasting through death and rebirth."

incredibile che tutti i giochi monster collector abbiano mostri a dir poco ridicoli esteticamente. è un peccato perchè tutti hanno meccaniche e storie migliori rispetto i pokemon
