@@Justking Makes sense since Oscar is the only one who hasn't teamed up on a mission with Ruby yet when reuniting. She's done so for Qrow, Jaune, Yang, Weiss and Penny so far I believe who had their arcs to deal with first. Hopefully Ruby is the one with more focus when the two eventually team up now that Oscar seems better off for the most part

I honestly get triggered when I think about it. Like of ALL the people who legitimately needed some comfort. It was Oscar!. A hug from Ruby would have been very sweet. Not even as a shipping thing but just blatantly because the kid deserved one. Kid was tortured, persuaded his captives to escape with him, fought and brought down the main villain buying them time.. came back literally looking like the world beat him down.. and is the only one who didn’t get hug?.

@@Justking Thank you! Because I watched your other compilation with ruby and Oscar and to be honest at first I didn't ship. I mean when the volumes from chapters 5 and 7 were still coming out year by year I mean. Like at first I thought it was cute that Oscar and Ruby were establishing a good friendship. Plus the intimate moments as well, I just thought it was that really. But then that moment when volume 7 chapter 9 happened I was sooo happy and like "well that was out of nowhere", until when I went back to re watch the moments between the 2 and the build up I was like omg it was in my face this whole time lol. Then people were saying that there's nothing between them and at first I was like idk I see something because when my gut is like "yeah that's a ship right there" I listen to it because I am right most of the time when it comes to that. I mean of course I'm not some huge shipper person really unless I see one actually happening but yeah. Then when I watched this video yesterday and I saw it at first I thought maybe its just me so I went back 2 or 3 times to make sure I wasn't crazy and I was like fangirling for a good 10 minutes like "HA I KNEW IT". But this does tell us this is the start of a ship though. Because usually this is how some ships start out in certain fandoms. lol sorry this was long I just never thought someone would notice that lol.

@@torimiller2928 I get exactly what you mean. I had the same reaction in that v7ch9 moment. It just seemed so unexpected and like CRWBY was just starting to ship them, but then I went and made my first compilation video of them and I was blown away. Oscar was looking towards Ruby in every scene and Ruby was helping Oscar every time, supporting him and teaching him what it means to be a real huntsman. This has been set up since the beginning but they were keeping it subtle at first On a slight tangent, it also feels like Weiss and Jaune are gonna become a thing soon. I've never shipped them, but when rewatching this last volume, I couldn't help but notice the number of times Weiss looked at him. She's acknowledged him as a huntsman and I think this is starting to go somewhere

@@Justking Ohh yeah same I noticed some things going on between Jaune and Weiss even though I'm kind of like on the I'm-not-sure-but-its-possible side. Because if I have learned anything about CRWBY they will make things subtle at first, but then put a moment out of something out of nowhere. Like with Blake and Yang like at first it was really just that until very recently we noticed those 2 growing and become intimate with one another. Which is why I always say like don't be surprised if you see a moment like that happening. With Blake and Yang you can see it now more then ever or with Ruby and Oscar, even thought its early, you can tell something may occur in the future.

@@torimiller2928 CRWBY is the master of being subtle. There are so many little moments and character interactions that you only notice when you rewatch it Jaune and Weiss seem unlikely right now. I mean he did have a crush on her back in v2 and tried to ask her out, though it does seem like she's starting to respect him and that's something

5:01 Ruby looks at Ospina in the form of Oscar like that, it seems to me that she fell deeply in love with Oscar as he fell in love with her, but they are both confused by Ospina in Oscar’s head. But it still seems to me that Ospina will leave later when they defeat Sailim. I can’t wait for season 10, I really want to see them reunite, I think they might hug or even kiss. I can imagine a scene where Ruby tells what happened in that house with Neo, and then falls silent and begins to cry and tell in a trembling voice, or she will run away and Oscar, when he finds out everything, will hug or kiss her

Oz definitely makes things awkward between them especially now that the line is blurring more and more but i do expect an emotional reunion (probably no kiss but a lot of tears) and ruby to confide in him when they get a moment alone

@@kappapride6332 I've honestly been speculating for a while that the finale has them get back to Remnant, realize that weeks have passed, and learn that Oscar is in jail or has taken over Shade academy before a sudden cut to black and hiatus time. RWBY's been through a lot this volume but i think her apparent death gives oscar a chance to grow on his own and become a true hunstman and I wanna see him changed by the time they reunite

@@oruwigar3143 There probably are more capabilities to the cane but for right now, it basically acts as a large battery for magical energy and a good beating stick. I also argue that it is an instrument to actually cast magic as well, like a magic wand. Since Oscar wouldn’t know how to cast magic. However him and Ozpin do share the same body and so maybe that just gives him the ability to use magic. However Oscar did express his dislike of using magic so I think the explosion wasn’t the same as using magic. Idk.
