How odd, Gail Porter said that Distance was going to be a single, which obviously never happened.

Thanks for the upload. This is rare but should be seen. Totally different vibe from their SG counterparts, but a brilliant girl group. And this shows them at their peak, and it’s great. I forgot how ‘vocal’ Nat was and she hold her own.

Wow. Hearing "Take The Key" completely took me back to a very sweet place in the late 90s. This was one of my favorite CDs to listen to back then in 1997, 98 and 99.

Any chance you have the All Saints MTV special they did? Was a mix of songs and interviews, presented by Davina McCall around 1998 I think?

1:14:17 - Mel’s mic is nowhere near her mouth yet her voice is crystal clear. I can’t believe that she would make such a blatant mistake so deep not their career. Lip syncing happens, especially by the end of a tour, but wow!
@erikm8372 Жыл бұрын
I know, it’s def lipped-but also considering this was broadcast live, I think on mtv? So no doubt it was dubbed. Many tv shows desire that crystal-clear sound quality being transmitted through to the viewers. I mean, from ‘Bootie Call’ at the start, it’s obviously the album track. I’ve listened to that song more times than I can count, I know it when I hear it! Haha! I feel like the girls weren’t too happy being forced into all the dancing. Dancing so much equates to lip synching. Usually. And everyone knows headsets are worse, soundwise, than actual mics. All Saints are much more about harmonies and singing together. A concert of purely acapella singing would’ve been well worth the price of a ticket, if not more.

i never forgopt ,how cool Saints are...i still listen to a best of them compiled by myself..but i honestly was curious about this concert , for the first album contains many great and cool non singles songs ,and i never hear them live...by now i m hearing take the key,and i love the RNB UK vibe so far...the girls themselves have been slick ,in their customized office suite choice , which differenced them from the other acts, made them look cool n sexy...they sing pretty well too (Shanznay .,of course, is the main force beghind it all, but she don t act like Beyonce, if you know hwat i mean ;)

I have a feeling the dancing was not quite what they wanted to be doing. Lol. Like the people in charge forced them to or something. Only because…They’re all about vocals, harmony and singing live, and with all the dancing, unfortunately they couldn’t sing live for the entire show. It’s most noticeable at the first song Bootie Call, totally lip synched. And they don’t appear to be happy about it. Some of the show does sound live, or at least recorded beforehand during sound check, but All Saints are at their best when they’re just singing acapella. I think they’d agree with that, tbh. I say it as a fan. I could do without the dancing and the big show, I’d rather pay to hear them singing their whole album together. I just think their managers made them put on a “spectacle”.
