They have released quite a few very good songs. Black coffee is another single which really deserves a reaction. William Orbit produced Pure Shores and I think he wanted to give it a bit of Madonna’s Frozen vibe to it… 😂

I remember watching a behind the scenes making off feature on T4 (anyone from the UK remember T4, brilliant hangover telly!) Anyway the girls were sure that because it was the theme song for the movie The Beach that they would be flown to some far flung beautiful destination. How wrong could they be...the video was shot in Norwich and even worse at night! The girls said it's freezing cold and wet. That is why they are wearing so many jumpers and coats. The idea for the video is that they are supposed to be witches! Haha 😂😂 🎶🎶❤️❤️

You're right, this song was a part of a movie soundtrack. 'The Beach' (2000, dir. by legendary Danny Boyle and starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Tilda Swinton and Guillaume Canet). When that movie came out, the song was everywhere.

They were good ..... I think 'Never Ever' was their best song and is the 3rd biggest selling girl group single in UK history behind Wannabe by the Spice Girl and 'Shout Out To My Ex' by Little Mix. Melanie Blatt was gorgeous !

yes it was Leo you saw the track was used for one of his movies. The great thing about All Saints is Shaznay (the black lady) co wrote most of their songs, if not all apart from the couple of covers they did. Try songs Never Ever, I know where it's at, Bootle Call, Black Coffee, They did good covers of Under the Bridge and Lady Marmalade xx

From the magic of William Orbit as producer. He produced Madonna’s Ray Of Light in its entirety as well as a handful of tracks on her Music album. That may be why you can hear Madonna’s Substitute For Love in this song. He has a definite style to his production and it makes this song so rich. His own work is mostly instrumental but he also partners with Beth Orton a lot. Well worth checking out. Maybe “Water From A Vine Leaf”.

This song alluded me for decades. I grew up as a young child hearing this all over the radio and wanted to find out what it was as an adolescent just before GTA V was released. It has that distinctive synth sound that was stuck in my head and that's all I had to go off of. Then GTA V was released and to my surprise, the song is on the radio in that game.

This song was actually written and produced by William Orbit, the guy who also co-wrote and co-produced Madonna's "Ray of Light" album. I would really love to see you react to "All Hooked Up" or "Rock Steady" next. Two fantastic songs. Also their version of Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Under the Bridge" is not to be missed.

LOVE All Saints. Check out "Rock Steady", "Never Ever", "Lady Marmalade" and "Black Coffee". They were marketed as the antithesis of Spice Girls. Fun fact - this song was produced by William Orbit and Madonna was said to not be too happy about the fact he worked with the girls on this track

This was the main track in the Leo Di Caprio and Danny Boyle film The Beach I think that they were managed and produced by Dave Stewart (Eurythmics) Their first big breakthrough tune was probably I Know Where It’s At (I’m not a big pop fan, much prefer House Music, Techno, Electro and the MADCHESTER era (Happy Mondays, Stone Roses, The Charlatans amongst others)) But I did always have a soft spot for them

Yep, you are right, that was a much younger Leonardo DiCaprio in the video taken from the movie The Beach. The song is produced by William Orbit who also produced Madonna's Ray of Light. This song isn't really indicative I'd say of All Saints, but I think does show their talents and versatility. You should definitely dig a little deeper.

Best girl band rivals of the spice girls 😂. The r&b was big in the 90s. I've been a big fan of the all saints since the 90s there music is my jam. I've seen them live a few times and they are fantastic. Last time I saw the ladys live was at takethats wonderland tour. My 2 favourites in one stadium it was brilliant. Yes that was Leo and Tilda Swinton from the beach. All saints was the alternative to the spice girls. Their outfits were usually big boots baggy combats and tight vest tops. They were made up of Londoners Melanie blatt (the first singer usually lead)shazney Lewis(the second singer) who wrote most of the songs and American sisters Nicole and Natalie Appleton. Try their first single that got them noticed.never ever.when looking for the right video you want the UK version official video as that's the one we were introduced to them with. Please more steps.
