I'm not really sure what the right answer for Solas is here. He's honestly in a really shitty position I dont envy from any standpoint. I understand why he's doing it, he created the veil to help his people only to see it ruin them, and only benifit humans. And see all the Veil took from the World. He fractured Reality and he's correct that the Veil is a wound on the world. I suppose there has to be some way to remove the Veil safely that needs to be figured out. Thats the only way this situation can be fixed

He tried to repair it after the last game but destroying the veil would also mean that the spirits would roam free again like in the time of the elfs and he cant do that sinds he knows what Humans do with spirits (look at dragon age inquisition), the only thing i thought here was ' he tried to repair it and someon tried to stop him, again'. Also what i forgot to say was, in the Veil Fen Harel aka solas locked up the old gods and the other gods of the Evanuris thats also why he tries to keep the veil locked because the main question here is: is mythal back at FULL power?

I know people, myself included, seemed apprehensive towards the new art design but after watching the game play trailer, I'm actually pretty excited. I think Solas looked particularly good. Its still giving gritty, foreboding dark fantasy so I'm interested in playing the full release. I really hope we get to see some of the other characters return, particularly Dorian even if its just a cameo.

Maker, this really brings about so many questions about what they're going to do with his character in DAV. Like hes on screen for under 3 minutes and I have so many ideas on how his redemption could go. I just hope- if Lavellan and Solas reunite under truce- that theres some kind of carry over from the way they broke up. Like some Lavellans wanna run into his arms and I wanna punch him (just once since I couldn't in trespasser) before things get cute.

It is now confirmed that 10 years passed between games, so it would not be hard to justify every Lavellan version growing a backbone and being properly pissed at him at first.

TBH I am still very excited...selfishly I suppose...I love the Dragon age games but I literally buy them and consume them obsessively for the Characters, the dialogue/lore consistency, and now...a dang Egg....it could literally be Mass Effect 1 Mako driving level excruciating gameplay and so long as the story, npc personalities, and that overall feel of a really rich story is still there I will be so freaking complete....side hope that Solas and Lavellan get an ending that feels good.....(Just one f***ing time pls...Shepard...Inky.....V......now maybe not Inky.....PLEASE) lolololol --- Like i understand it's fiction but idc...and to H*** will anyone who thinks otherwise about Inquisition..I loved every single of the games..mass effect franchise too..all of that series and thus far all of Dragon Age series has been nothing but masterpiece works of genuine Art...in music, world, emotional impact, and consistency in every aspect that matters..(not the gameplay...if any of you who stumble upon this comment actually play this series for the gameplay being the interest...I seriously doubt your authenticity as a Dragon Age fan and outright call you all liars with 100% confidence that is factual)

the expressions so far in this game are so amazing. even better than dai. you can see the conflict in solas’ face seeing varric again. he’s i don’t know surprised or pissed and then a flash of sadness/melancholy and then angry
