I am going to reiterate something VERY important: It's HIGHLY unlikely that we see Hudson, Mason or Woods as Mason would be assumed KIA, Woods would be in a wheelchair and Hudson would be killed by Menendez. However, depending on WHEN in the 90s the game is set, we may see a younger Section (David Mason) in the Navy SEALS EDIT: I know I'm wrong about Section, before you say anything

Gulf War was early 90's. (Specifically prior to 94; I'll have to refresh.) Section would be in his...mid teens, I think? Edit: Between late 1990 and early 1991. Only about a couple of years or so after Menendez attacked.

How about a cross-over game mode, instead of Zombies - Soldiers against Aliens, yes those aliens, - Imagine a COD Alien game, that the enemy can run up walls, and run along the ceilings of the corridors. - Blast them with a shotgun, and acid spurts everywhere, burning anything close to it. - Then you can play as an Alien, imagine the fun.

@@jhonadrianclark5203. You don't have to shoot their legs; Headshots grant extra points and each general shot gets you points. Plus, there's the old strategy of shooting them and then knife to the head, or using an SMG with low damage, but high rate of fire to farm even more points. There's ways to vary it up in some of the older games and that's not counting things like traps. Regardless, if you have to ask this question, you probably don't understand WHY people had so much fun with classic zombies maps in older COD games.

I believe it may be Admiral Briggs from Black Ops 2. It could be a young version of him that we see being introduced into whatever black ops taskforce they have us play in. He could be the games protagonist or at least a playable character. It makes sense from a timeline perspective and would be awesome fan service - after all he's one of the best and most likable characters from BO2.

Maybe the anonymous character is BOWMAN the reason why i say this because we seen him die in bo1. But MAYBE he ran away he went in to hiding until the Vietnam war ended. In the first misson of bo1 and all the missons he’s in he has his sweater rolled up and he was the only one who had his combat knife on his shoulder. And the hat can be to cover the scars that he got from that interrogation seen. This is just a what if.

something i think to keep in mind is that the operator on the cover has never been a MC. Its always been a reference to how we never are supposed to know the operator(s) who carry out "Black Ops". My predictions Definitely references to our usual core guys; maybe some villain's from previous games or franchises. They seem to be weaving the games into each other now so I would be expecting that as the cool factor. I do belive we'll find out more information in regard to adler but i think we'll have new characters.

The early 90's was kind of that transition period for the Internet: It still wasn't entirely affordable and neither was it actually that good (at least by today's standards), but it was starting to improve in efficiency and was becoming cheaper as well as proving it's value to the civilian and commercial markets. (The military had already seen it's use via ARPANET during the 70's.)
