Crows aren't displaying mating behavior at this time of the year, but if they have young still fresh out of the nest, they will punish anyone or anything that gets too near them. They will also thrash any other bird that finds their stashes of "tasties," kind of like how you'd feel if someone found your secret bag of Werthers.

Great video Adrian,thank you for sharing. Regarding the sprayer bar,if you were to drop it below the exhaust would that be any better or would it be too low? I'd certainly sooner have it low rather than too high and having drift. Heifers look in great condition. 👌

Great video Adrian can I give you a little tip? Before you push the piston back in on the quad or any vehicle lift the rubber back and put a bit of spray oil onto the piston will help keep it from seizing up in future. 👍🏻

Just a suggestion adrian put an old cow mat or conveyor belt under the tank . I've seen a tank with a hole in it from vibrations and moving around slightly on the quad rear frame .they all move a little bit no matter how tight you have them clamped down

Great video as always Adrian, when you're fitting the sprayer could you fit a pipe with 90 degree bend to excaust pipe might help 🤔

Just have to be real careful it wouldn’t restrict the air flow John, 90 degree turn would be very risky on a 500cc engine. It’s a good idea if it worked though 👍

I love watching the ebb and flow of nature on your farm and the ways your focus adapts to the changes as you do the chores and the maintenance. It may sound silly, but I find it like a beautiful piece of music played by an orchestra. Yeah-pretty sappy 😉.

Commenting on the last video Do you know u can get a share grab that can take the plastic off as well that might be a better investment u wouldn’t have to take the share grab off. I have 1 it very handy.

Crows are very territorial. We used to run a crow trap near lambs and bales. The bait was another crow from the far side of the county. Without fail the local crows would come down to fight with it and get trapped.

Very informative as usual Adrian, I agree with the bracket job on the quad, for the money you would think they would supply a bracket, I see some one has already said about a mat under the Tank they rub through so easily, you must of had some rain we have not had as much as that, as always very enjoyable thank you for sharing and good luck to you and the family

Cheers lad, ya we have a site of rain earlier in the week. Last Saturday night was unbelievable here and the whole Sunday after. I heard some parts down the country had very little. Hard to believe it with what we got here

Yes they’ve grow well, last years were much bigger and more even in size due to there age, but I’m happy considering all that. Cheers Randy

Worth looking into either through manufacturers or Amazon but you may be able to convert drum brakes to disc on other quad .

You can but it’s hardly worth the hassle or expensive Dale, you couldn’t really tell the difference on a light quad like that.

Yes I gave done a few, very simple shoes to do. Just take a few photos before you remove the two springs.

Perhaps it‘s good you didn‘t make those latches on the wall. Now you exactly know where to put them. When you first build it, you would have probably put them on the wrong spots.

@@IFarmWeFarm you’ll have to check there site out TEC TV I think it’s father and son pair there hoof trimmers that they paint it on it’s like thin ish bluey jell that they use for dermatitis. Good luck with it.

Depends on the quad and tyre lad, keep them very low. Most people like myself would ya e had them to hard at times as that left the steering easier to turn but that’s wrong. I’ve about 8 psi in mine as the tyres are thick walled. Makes a big difference with grip and comfort.

@@IFarmWeFarm yeah I seen a safety demonstration at tullamore show and they had them at 5psi to get as much wheel surface on the ground as possible for grip but obviously the steering can be very heavy
