A city slicker went to the country and saw a farmer out in his field loading up rocks in a wagon. The city slicker yelled to the farmer, "Hey, where did all those rocks come from?" The farmer thought that was a pretty dumb question, so he replied in disgust, "A Glacier brought em". He went back to picking up more rocks. Pretty soon he heard the city slicker yell, "hey, where did the Glacier go?" The farmer yelled back, "It went back to get more rocks!"

As one grows older, your commentary at the end of the video rings so true. When youth escape's our mortal bodies we must realize that there are many things that we have very little control over. To try to hang on to those ideas and control those things is very stressful. It is in my humble opinion that less stress equals a happier life.

As I consider my almost 70 years on this earth, being raised milking cows, hauling hay and other farm chores...how refreshing your channel and lifestyle is! No politics, very little controversy, but tons and tons of common sense !!! Thank you for extolling the virtues of hard work, using things up and then fixing them yourself, and keeping the mom & pop farm life real!

Brilliant observation- having grown up in that manicured 50's ascetic, i always wondered about the older farm houses' circles of wildness around trees and barns. Really appreciated the tree lined fields with their shade for the horse teams and saw farmers in the 50's and 60's enjoying their mayonnaise jars of iced tea under the old giants. Thanks Pete!

Another peaceful and happy video. Thank you for sharing this next chapter in your story. I like to contrast your work with the pictures of my great grandfather and grandfather working the fields and farm in the foot hills of Mount Holyoke by the Connecticut River. No gasoline in use just two horse power and strong bodies getting thru the day. Just something for me to think about. By the way, the pictures are from an archive of Clifton Johnsons work. He was an local author and keen on the valley. A blessing to be able to see the world thru his eyes. Cheers, peace.
