I love the honesty in this song. In times when I'm distant from God and my head knows He's good but my heart is numb to Him this song helps me express how I feel to God. There are times when I can't genuinally sing from my heart songs of praise even though I know in my head that He's worthy of all my praise but I still need to sing something so this song is perfect for that.

I am at a place in my life when I need a reason to sing I’m depressed angry and mad. It’s just that I am lonely even when I say I am fine. I am laid off from work like a lot of us are, I am fighting with those I love. Friends and family and my own selfish side of me. Praying man...There was a point in my life when I was in a similar situation - I was without any income for some time and couldn't even afford to put food on the table. It was in the depression anger, anguish shock and darkness of that point in my life - where I discovered an opportunity to truly praise God, without a reason, without a blessing attached, simply for the Loving King that He is. . . Within a few months from that time, COVID-19 hit us . . . and then I thought I'm done for. . . but I prayed the divine mercy prayer, and in the middle of my storm, a miracle occurred. I was given a client for my business. . . I didn't call them. . . I didn't reach out. . . It all came to me & I managed to help purchase food and groceries and pay my expenses...I knew then and I know now . . . that no eye has seen, no ear has heard of the wonderful things that God has in store for those who love Him. Be strong Brandon & take care.
