I think spiderman has the most balanced skill set of any superhero. He has everything but not quite too much to call him overpowered. It's so diverse though, it makes him able to go up against opponents that at first glance seem to overmatch him.

Idk about not calling him overpowered. He is extremely overpowered, with his spider sense, physical strength, and speed. At least, in the comics. Daredevil has basically called him "power personified" in the comics. He's physically strong enough to do things that even he himself thinks should be impossible. He's so fast that he took put the x men like it was nothing(nightcrawler was like "I'm as agile as he is" and spidey said something like "not even on one of my bad days" as he proceeded to take the x men out effortlessly). That said, I do still love him. What makes him seem super balanced is simply the fact that he holds himself back all the time, unless in truly dire situations. But even in the movies, he's super strong. He's stronger than Cull Obsidian, and his attacks on Titan actually made Thanos, of all people, move
@TidanLikida6 ай бұрын
Out of the powers, I think the one I'd want most is the sense: knowing something is about to happen, the direction of it, and how to act to avoid or prevent it. You'd need the speed and reflexes to accompany it though. The wall crawling would be fun. The strength would be a little scary. As we saw in the Amazing Spider-Man movies, he smashed his alarm clock, destroyed parts of the bathroom etc. I could imagine that you'd be a little clueless about why you're so strong all of a sudden, and accidentally destroy a few things. You'd then realise that you have to be careful around everything, and have to make sure you never lose your temper. Imagine moments you may have had in the past, like slamming a door angrily. Doing that with his strength...your door is suddenly gone and it's possible some of the wall around the doorframe is gone too. The strength would scare me more than any of his other powers.
@Jamie_Winsh2 жыл бұрын
Spidermans strength is very underrated. Just because he is seen as a teenager. He held together a ferry, stopped a car at full speed, held up that airport thing in civil war, stopped cull obsidians hammer in its tracks, held up a bell tower and lifted up the rubble of an exploded building that landed right on top of him
@trpoihgg2 жыл бұрын

Hey CBR in my opinion Spider-Man should’ve been given more powers and abilities. If machines get invented I’ll go back in time when Stan Lee was working on the first spider man comic and ask him to give Spider-Man these superpowers. venom blasts: the ability to fire bursts of red energy from his hands. A clairvoyant spider-sense that allows him to see dangers as they happen; no matter where he is, he can close his eyes and see the event, shown to the viewers as an image outlined by a spider-web. His spider sense can also warn him in front as well. He would still have his other spider sense. He can also project spider-like weblines from the palms of his hands or an individual finger. They naturally generated so he wouldn't need web shooters. He is able to control the direction in which his weblines move. Spider-telepathy: allowing him to mentally communicate with spiders and ask them for assistance. Spider bubble: allowing him to function underwater without diving gear. enhanced strength The ability to camouflage himself, including his clothing, to match his surroundings, making him effectively invisible. I would even give him glider wings as an addition to his costume similar to spiderWoman’s glider wings it would allow him able to fly at will.

In the comics his spider sense could sense radio frequencies. However I dont think its really brought up anymore. His spider sense gives him omni presence of his surroundings. Meaning he can sense anything hazardous or dangerous around him. However it does specifically tell him what the danger is. Just tells him where to move and evade on coming attacks.

The thing of spiderman is that he has no offensive power, not saying his powerset is bad, but his powers sense is just basically just spider abilities with physical enchantments. Like he does not has any long range power/attacking power like how Ironman can shot energy blasts or wolverine has his claws. That's why I think his powerset is just same captain America but more powerful and spider attributes. That's why miles powers are what I want.

I always like it when comic book adaptations are done as realistically as possible, so that they come off as plausible, even if they're not, in order to aid in the ability to lose oneself in fantasy, and aid in the wonderful wish fulfilment escape of playing superhero. Regarding characters with super strength, they often have impenetrable or extremely hardened skin due to their power. Spider-Man doesn't have this - Now, I'm not saying he should, at all. However, I think it would be realistic if his skin is noticeably tough regarding texture. Being able to punch through a brick wall and crash through reinforced plastic windows - It feels like something that should cause cuts and bruises for someone who has regular, soft human flesh. I think Captain America too actually, and any super soldier, should have noticeably tough skin. At least the versions in the MCU, I believe I recall Cap being considerably weaker in the comics. *SPOILER ALERT FOR THE SPIDER-MAN MYTHOS* Edit: I believe, considering the experimental gas causing super strength, Green Goblins should have tough skin too i.e. Norman and Harry. The Hobgoblin too if he has super strength (I remember in the 90's cartoon, he didn't have that). *EDIT:* I think in the Marvel universe, there should be a liquid for tough skin that softens it for it to appear "human" in softness, so that when Peter goes to the hospital to do a blood test, it can be taken by the doctor without suspicion due to his tough skin. *EDIT:* Due to the regular, grounded human combat Captain America and The Winter Soldier are engaged in, I think Spider-Man's super-strong skin should be distinctly tougher and harder than theirs. When Cap and Bucky punch humans, they'll feel the strength of the skin, but it won't effortlessly overpower them like Spidey's does - for example, Cap couldn't knock out Flash by tapping him, like Peter did. Spider-Man is stronger than Cap anyway, it can be assumed he'll be quite easily stronger than Cap once he grows up in the MCU. *EDIT:* I believe, regarding Spider-Man's tough skin, bullets should be defined as being strong enough to pierce through his skin just about, and so, are still fatal to him.

I know you're not getting into exact science here, but another channel described the MCU Tom Holland Spider-Man as being able to lift about 30 tons; calculating the average weight of a typical jet bridge (the one Captain America dropped on him and he held it up in Civil War). Impact force comes into play too, with the jet bridge and Spider-Man catching the car. The comic book Spidey is set at 10 tons, but it's just a guideline, since he's lifted way more heavier things than that. Not to take away from your info, but just as a side mention.
