I think the joke also comes from the fact that JoJolion is often perceived to be “less popular” than SBR; a part that many people don’t feel the need to read past. Not to mention it’s a (relatively) recent part so less people are likely to have caught up to it yet. Having said that, I still LOVE JoJolion, don’t get me wrong

I think it's a pretty solid chain of associations, turning the feeling of a motorcycle suddenly speeding by and leaving a gust of wind into a supernatural horror story. a lot of early jjl stands are like that, random events or coincidences you might find aimlessly wandering the streets turned into hostile forces
