I think villains are easier to pick up. Overall the sides are balanced in an equal matchup. Just like any fighting game you gotta know who to pick into your opponent, I probably wouldn't go Rey into Vader for instance.

Julien how are villains twice as good as the hero’s? Luke is top tier, Anakin is top tier, yoda is really good, obi wan is fantastic when set up correctly. Han Solo is arguably the best blaster hero. Rey is also very good just don’t enjoy using her. You can not say that villains are twice as good as hero’s.

@@shermaderma2803 1 V 1 vs. Anyone except for Darth Vader and maybe General Grevious is a guaranteed victory for Leia. Lightsaber heroes are vulnerable when striking and the rapid fire E-11 does more DPS, so they usually die first. Just a Friendly tip, If General Grievous is right up in your face and he is using his unrelenting assault, you need to dodge towards him and get behind him because he cannot turn fast enough. If you try to dodge backwards and run away it catches up to you. Also, Leia is super hot, so try use that to your advantage.

I always top score as Iden, she is by far one of the best blaster villains. Both in HvV and the big modes, amazingly powerful close to mid range - and on top of that has a sniper rifle. Han Solo is only good in HvV for me honestly mainly because he's got no defensive abilities, unlike Iden. He is very powerful but if caught out, he can easily die. I killed many high level Han Solos with the vanguard many times.

How to get super speed with bossk: activate predator instincts and immediately press triangle button ( it cancels the ability but leaves you with faster running speed). The best thing about this is that it lasts indefinitely until you activate predator instincts and it doesn’t even use your predator instincts ability when you do it.

He also has no way to counter a blocking lightsaber hero except for rolling behind them (which leaves you open to their attacks) or shoot them until they run out of stamina. He can hold his own against other blaster heroes though.

I agree except bossk should be a lot higher. Bossk with all the predator instincts cards is low-key one of the best crowd control strats in the game. You can just fire what feels like unlimited grenades and your other abilities recharge so damn quick.

Nah, Grievous is perfect to counter any blaster hero, he just shreds them to pieces. Because of he’s poor stamina, to get close to blaster heroes I use U Advance, once I get close enough I use his thrust surge to bring them down and finally the claw rush, thats the best way to deal with Hans.

han is a joke if you're playing grievous, claw rush him into a wall, if you're near a corner use unrelenting advance or just regular lightsaber strikes (also it's best to jump and then right away swing the lightsabers because it gives you a more powerful attack), if he tries to escape use thrust surge im a grievous main and it usually takes me around 10 seconds to kill a han without losing more than 200 health

I wouldn’t say he’s op tho. In most cases, the enemy will always view them as more of an annoyance rather than a actual threat. It takes a while to take down basic troopers and the two generally don’t have that good damage output unless you buff them to hurt a bit more. I don’t main either of the two so this is just my two cents.

I played Battlefront 2 when very little people played it. I played it in 2017 for a couple months after January and then played it again a bit before the Geonosis update with General Grievous and Obi-Wan Kenobi. Seeing Battlefront 2 become this succesful has made me so happy. Battlefront 2 has come such a long way from the loot crate pay-to-win days. Seeing it become a PS monthly game and a PS plus game has made me even more happy.

I personally love bb-8 and he’s my favorite hero to play as. His cable spin is op, his charge is a great way to get out of somewhere and you can never deny some walk hacks. That’s why I love bb-8

I actually really enjoy playing as BB8. When you upgrade his cable spin with star cards, he becomes a genuine menace in close quarters. Also, I feel like Iden Versio is a much better hero than Bossk. Her pulse cannon is actually better than Bossk's Relby as it has a much better travel time and does just about the same damage when charged for a tiny bit. Paired with this, Iden has much better options in close range and can damage heroes through block or stun them.

I may not agree with your placement for phasma but I respect it as well. In my opinion the turret is for bad players if they sit at it the whole time. Yes I will use it when I’m in tight situations but she is very very effective if you know what your doing, in the last update phasmas staff received some tweaks, it now recharges also it instantly, she has a sprint lunge attack now which is so useful I’m so happy they added this to the game.

It’s so crazy seeing different ranking videos for the heroes in this game. While Han is 10 on this list I’ve seen him in the top 3 in another list. Just showing how everyone’s different play style can really highlight certain heroes more than other people can. Just more reason to love this game

In my experience, having 400 lvl on Grievous, I can say that unrelenting advance on Grievous is not great in right situations - its duged useless trash.

In my opinion, Bossk is one of the greatest heroes/villains in this game. He can do almost anything you want him to efficiently. He can defeat infantry quickly at any range, lock down any area he wants, he can bring any hero to their knees if played right, doesn't even need starcards in order to do well (but they greatly improve his capabilities), doesn't need to keep fighting in order to stay alive (as mentioned in the video), all three of his abilities are almost unstoppable (no block can stop his gas or explosives, although specialist shields can stop explosives) and he has higher base melee damage (only other hero with this feature is Chewbacca.) I do feel as if Bossk is underrated to a lot of people, but I do understand some frustrations with the character. He can have *some* trouble with Jedi in certain 1v1 scenarios and a few abilities (Finn's Deadeye, Leia's E-11 and her thermal detonators, and Chewbacca's Furious Bowcaster, to name a few) can kill Bossk in seconds if he isn't careful. Besides these negatives, Bossk is a very powerful character, and is in the top 3 if I were to rank the heroes/villains (the other two characters are obvious).

Do you want to know how to get super speed with bossk? Activate predator instincts then immediately as quick as you can press triangle on ps4 or y on Xbox. It leaves you with super speed.

I personally love bb-8 I can get kills with him so easily not to mention I've gotten first on Heroes versus Villains several times it's just my opinion but I believe bb-8 is definitely were they of the Hero title. Not to mention I still get a satisfying feeling every time I kill a Darth Vader with bb-8

Iden’s Pulse canon is actually really useful for helping you regenerate health, since it can one-shot the infantry with body shots, (except the heavy). So if you ever take too much damage as Iden and have to retreat, pop her shield and run away to an advantageous position and start sniping to get back all of your health

When playing BB9, if you use your shock spin early so that it hits only one enemy first, that enemy gets knocked back, and then any enemies you start hitting with shock spin after that do not get knocked back. Definitely still a glorified reinforcement, but you can really get in and do some serious damage with the bb droids if you're sneaky enough.

my setup for yoda is increased presence health and duration and 8% damage reduction which gives him 982 effective health. add the fact he has a tiny hitbox and you can live for the whole game

My main and favourite character is Captain Phasma. To me, I rarely relied on my droid. I rely mostly on my staff strike and blaster and she can actually be very OP and can take down Anakin, luke and Kenobi in 1v1

@@Jonathan-ih9sm its a bit difficult but with smoke screen its easier 1.observe your oppenet and always create a little distance so when they start attacking dodge left or right then back wards,fowards,or anywhere really 2.it helps to hold your attack button when they are attacking you as it stuns them so you are able to create distnace between them and you 3.try running with smoke screen them quickly stun and dodge around them as it should be hard for them to hit you 3. When they are in range for the shock spin attack use it as you could even ledge them I might make a video about it but Idk Edit:so many god damn typos

Phasma on Ajon Closs is an absolute beast with both her health cards. Stick on the ability and get 300 extra health with one hit staff strikes. She can also destroy any hero’s coming at her by placing your droid and spamming staff.

My favorite hero is Iden Versio because her secondary shot one-taps all infirmary except heavy. She isn’t the best in heroes vs villains but in coop missions she is a very strong hero

BB-8's power and regen allows him to be one of the most aggressive heroes in the game. And the only way you rate him so low is if you're salty about getting the bowling balls instead of other more iconic heroes. Also with Iden the secondary is only different from Bossk's Relby sniper mode by having to hold the fire button and release instead of wait and then fire. Also pretty sure it does more damage. Great for keeping to the back of the map and picking off specialists.

If you want to do more Hero/Villain ranking videos you totally can. Just rank them based on modes. Which Heroes/Villains are the best/worst in something like Supremacy are very different from which Heroes/Villains are best/worst in something like Heroes vs Villains. Many abilities such as Leia's E-11 are absurdly OP in HvV whereas it is just a really good ability in big team modes, while other abilities such as Lando's Sharpshot borders on useless half the time in HvV whereas it is an insane ability in big team modes. There's a lot of nuance and situational factors that really do change the dynamics and chemistry of certain heroes/villains with other heroes/villains.

I don't usually play in GA but in Heroes vs Villains and I find Iden Versio to be one of the most difficult blaster heroes to defeat if you are using a Jedi. Her pulse cannon is unblockable and even if you dodge it, you can still take damage. If you get hit by her shock droid you're dead. I wish Finn had any type of stun ability or something to make him survivable against Jedi
