Snyder was giving us a warning before THE FLASH reset the DCEU timeline: Darkseid will come to Earth for the Anti-Life Equation in order to control all life throughout the Multiverse. And now we're in James Gunn's DC Universe. No matter how many times you reset the timeline, DARKSEID IS STILL COMING.

@Cariboubear Malachy When they retreated, not much of his forces survived. Plus it's not the job of a Justice League movie explaining Darkseid immediately, that's saying Avengers explaining Thanos turning to Loki and Ronan to find the Infinity Stones.
