Zack Snyder seems really good at making grunts dangerous, even if they lose. The Parademons here, the Amazons fighting Steppenwolf, and KGBeasts fighters in the warehouse scene. It's the best way to make your protagonist look skilled.

I'm absolutely obsessed with this scene. First BvS gave us the best live-action Batman fight scene in the warehouse, and now ZSJL gave us (in my opinion) the best Batmobile scene too. The heroic, militant music really helps create a feeling of absolute determination, of a Batman still hellbent on righting his wrongs from BvS. Even though he's already truly redeemed himself by forming the Justice League and helping to revive Superman, he's still prepared to throw himself head-first against overwhelming odds without a second of hesitation, because that's just who he is. The goddamn BATMAN. Crazy how Whedon took something as epic as Batman mowing down an entire army of parademons by himself and made it so dull... but at least we finally got to see Zack's version. Also, that ejector seat to grappling hook to swing kick is absolutely bonkers.

Although I do enjoy the scene myself, the Snyder Cut does not sell Batman to me as a hero "righting his wrongs" or "redeeming himself". Never once Bruce says murdering people during BvS was wrong. Also him "letting down Superman" makes little to no sense. Batman actually fought side-by-side with Superman in the end, who was killed by Doomsday (a creature created by Lex Luthor, a process Batman did not really impact).

@László Bence Bari ohhh for fck sake..let it go with "batman doesn't kill" narrative man. Batman has killed in almost every live-action movie. And depending on the story arc and who's writing, he has killed in comics too. It all depends on what iteration of Batman it is. By default Batman does have a no kill rule. But you need to watch BVS properly to understand the depth of his character. Batfleck is a veteran batman that has fought crime for 20 yrs and nothing in gotham had changed. Criminals are like weeds, get rid of one,another grows in its place he says to alfred. He's getting old, tired, lost so much in his life (parents, robin, his family mansion looks to have burnt down) he doesn't care about anything anymore. Becomes brutal (brands criminals) and cynical where he starts loosing sense of morality. And then he sees superman, a god like being who was doing catastrophic damage to the city. This was a threat to Batman and it was further exacerbated by Luthor which turned Batman into a mad man. Even thought superman tried to diffuse the situation many times and actually went to batman to ask for help, batman was too stubborn to listen and was hell-bent at destroying superman (which he almost did). Then we have the famous martha scene which has its own deep meaning. Basically batman gets played by Lex, almost kills superman, almost lets his mum die.Batman always knew lex was up to no good as he found that lex had secret files for metahumans and possessed kryptonite. He obviously knew Lex was up to something but never bothered to investigate as he was too focused on destroying superman. With the focus away from lex, he goes on to create Doomsday who kills superman. So yes, Bruce does find himself responsible for superman's fate. All superman wanted was peace and be a beacon of hope, but because of batman, he is dead. He let superman down. In Snyder cut,, it shows his road to redemption.He starts believing in people. He’s not a brutish, lumbering monster anymore - he’s the Batman you remember. The good guy.

​@Sharp Sin I don't have to "let it go", there is literally no reason for him to use martial arts instead of hand guns if he has a "no killing" rule. Granted, he killed in a number of live-action movies (whereas he refrained from it in many of them), but it is still a defining trait of the comic book character. Trust me, I have watched BvS, directorial cut (a couple of times in fact). It is not the worst movie on the world, has its merits, but it is also far from being a masterpiece. It does not have that deep of a characterization for Batman or Superman. I rather feel like many people are trying to read their vision into it (or ZSJL for that matter).

​Lee Brown I am not saying it is the end of the world. It is just a comic book movie, after all. I just think it is hard to read into any kind of deep guilt into Batman's character in ZSJL, since he barely reflects on the supposedly bad, cruel or wrong things he's done. Remember when Alfred implied in BvS that he's been turned "cruel" by the events of Man of Steel? It is never mentioned once again, same with the branding of criminals, the use of guns etc. Personally, I also find it hard to believe that he would feel that much guilt over misjuding Superman's character. Their personal connection was non-existent, Superman was indeed responsible for a lot of destruction (although it is clear that he did not cause it) and was potentially dangerous (to which the whole storyline leads with the adaptation of Injustice). As for the no killing rule - I think this whole debate is on mostly due to Nolan's characterization of Batman, where the "no guns, no killing rule" became a central part of the character as a part of his development throughout the trilogy. (As soon as he becomes Batman, he indeed does not kill - with one exception.) It was a popular characterization, immediately followed by Snyder's version, who has no problem killing. Ofc it remains a debate of subject.

In my opinion, Ben Affleck is the best Batman in live action. Not only is he the most comic accurate version of Batman, but his journey from being that dark and reasonable monster in BVS to the faithful hero who stands and fights for justice in ZSJL is what makes his version of Batman the most inspiring. Also, he has some of the best action sequences in the DCEU with the warehouse fight and this scene.

This is honestly one of the most terrifying chase/fight scenes I've ever seen in any piece of entertainment, let alone in the superhero genre. This fight scene clearly indicates that Justice League movies must allow Batman to develop an Iron-Man like suit by using Kryptonian & Apokolips technology. I would prefer that Batman's Exoskeleton is made of Kryptonian material that can absorb an energy equivalent to a Tactical Nuclear weapon. This absorbed energy must be used a source to power up the abilities of Exoskeleton. Batman should develop At least 3 suits which he keeps powering by using the Small Fusion Reactor in his Batcave. Batman should be able to fight at Peak-Human strength due to his physique & training only for a few minutes. Batman's Exoskeleton should allow him to fight at:- (1) Peak-Human level for 120-hrs (5-days) (2) Enhanced human level for 12-hrs (3) Super Human level (Type-1) for 10-minutes Thus writers can show that an Exoskeleton Armour wearing Batman could halt Dark-Sied or assist other heroes to halt him till reinforcements arrive. Cyborg's biology should allow him to achieve:- (1) All time Enhanced Human Strength (2) Superhuman Type-1 strength for 72-hrs (3) Superhuman Type-2 strength for 1-hrs
