This interview would have been an eye opener to a lot of accusations and counter accusations as regards Sunny's band but the audio quality is poor, the microphone would have being placed in front of him on a stand and his voice has cracked

I remember vividly, when I went for national disco competition in ibadan in October 1989, u are allowed to choose 1 traditional music, I went there with the Lp record of Ace , I won the competition with the ace of Ssp.

God bless you, @deleadeyanju. You are a gem in our rotten society. Many people are comfortable with leaders oppressing their workers since they are enjoying the music. The government should step in and make sure that there is proper agreement in any endeavour. How is it reasonable that the musicians are filthy rich while their workers are living in penury. Something is not right.

Another excellent interview although not as engaging or captivating as those of other former African Beats (AB) members. Oga Jelili looks pretty good and strong for his age. It's a shame though that Oja Jelili was all over the place with most of his answers thus prevented Dele from digging deep and extracting clear and concise information from him. It was a lost opportunity unless a sequel is arranged. One must ask what Oga Jelili has been living on since he left AB in 2007; given that he claimed not to have been doing anything since. That's a long time not to have been engaged in productive economic activities. @ Agbaletu, we now need to hear from Tunde Temilola aka Tunde Isaac Hayes who resides in London and from Tunde Manager, aka Michael Babalola. Please arrange long interviews with them too without delay. We need to hear from them with direct answers to the many comments that their former colleagues like Haji Tiamiyu, Haji Rasaki Aladokun etc have made across their own interviews. Tunde manager is especially important to fuse things together as their former band manager.

Baba Jelili wanted to be political correct that is why he was avoiding to say the whole truth. He is not in a good place after over 50years of playing for one the biggest band in Nigeria. Which supports the position of Femi Sanya.

Agbaletu, whether you reveal much or not, the truth can never be hidden. Especially for some of us that watch you and follow you. I believe the reason why you created this show is to uncover the truth so that the real and original history of events can be well documented.

How would you expect an elderly man to admit to stealing in front of the whole world? If you wanted an honest answer you could have asked in humour.

@hafizbamidele-davidgbadamo5725 The reason some of these people are scared to talk is the backlash and curses people who are fanatically unobjective met out to them. They worked with the band leaders for years as long as 30years in some instance, but when they are to share their experience, people who only enjoy the music criticize them on what to say or what shouldn't. They're aware and they don't want to offend their former leader's fans because they've been labeled servants forever. Fans don't even feel they have a right to talk. That's how one was asking me why Sunny Ade always. Gosh.

Dele good job. Keep it up. My question is why do band leaders do not share the engagement fees with the band members. Keeping the engagement for themselves is selfish.
