All Terrain Tiger™ Effectiveness PART II

I really wish someone would put this back in production. It's really a good pattern, especially where I am in the Desert Southwestern USA. It's tan enough to blend in in the desert, but still offer enough visual break-up and a color scheme that matches our much drier forests in the mountain west. There's a lot less lush green vegetation and trees and a lot more big conifers that tend to be sparse compared to something like Southern pines or PNW firs. Also, we have much more exposed dirt and rock in our woods compared to this video. Just not as much forest duff. You can find all sorts of hiking pics in the Spring Mountains of Southern Nevada, The Dixie National Forest in Southern Utah, The Sandia Mountains near Albequerque, NM and the Prescott National forest in Northern AZ and it seems to me like All-Terrain Tiger would be excellent there.

I commented on another one of your videos but I just have to say again, great job! Yours are definitely the best camo tests on youtube as you include a movement test for each still test; I think this is crucial for maintaining a low profile. In summer here in Indiana the woods can still have open areas with a lot of green but I've had a flock of turkeys come within ten yards of me a few times wearing Realtree AP - a pattern with little green in it. Can't wait for your autumn tests!

AT Tiger looks outstanding in the fall but it's hard to beat plain old BDU's in spring/summer in a wooded environment.

Definitely more of a Desert, Fall/Early Winter and Early Spring pattern.

Was only able to find you in time on a couple of them and that was purely from the ingrained pattern recognition of knowing what a human face or head looks like with a hat and sunglasses on or weird shadows only produced by a human shape.

The colors seem simaliar to multicam. great camo. always wanted tigerstripe to add to my collection. I could find you in all clips before you moved lol. hunters eye.

Awesome bro, can't wait to see it. I'm thinking of doing my first video soon, I'm getting a Leatherwood ART scope ( should be here today) and going to mount it on my SOCOM 16. Maybe a sort of review and shooting vid. Not real sure, there are already vids out better than what I could probably do explaining the scope, but I haven't seen a run and gun type with it being used as a DMR. I may try that. Also just put a T1 on my SGL-21, just sighted it in at 25 meters on sunday, I may bring that also.

I think if the camo had leaf like over lay it might help be more unseen like any thing with leaf shapes and twigs shadowing the pattern some soft though in it

It appears to be close to multicam in this terrain which makes since because the colors are very close however its clearly not as good in greener terrain so il just stick with multicam as an all around pattern.

I picked up some of the pants when they were released because they looked good for cutoff shorts. After watching these reviews that you made I’m glad I cut them instead of saving them for camo. I saw you almost every time both vids. I wouldn’t recommend this for anyone that has a lot of green in their environment maybe this would work in desert brush environments

I think in another month it will be even more effective. You are making me want to spend a lot of money, lol. If you have access to Flectarn, I would be very curios how effective it is now that we are moving into fall. If not then, oh well.

You should try to get your hands on Modern CADPAT TW, (there has been 3 generations), AOR II (NWU type 3), and if possible Mitchell Pattern (Spring/Summer wine leaf) though these are rare patterns, I'd love to see how they perform.

You are a camo geek, my friend, and I mean that in a GOOD way! I got some AOR2 NWU III fabric recently, w/Globe & Anchor. Could you tell me more about the 3 gen's of CADPAT?? I got some CADPAT milspec fabric, and some ATACS FG "t shirt knit" fabric to make some "poncho's" (kind of poncho-like garments to camo yourself easily and quickly, while breaking up the human silhouette. I would LOVE to know more, I am a camo geek myself (in addition to knife, gun, watch, and general gear geek)

Well I appreciate that. Lucky duck only AOR2 I've been able to get is 2 boonie hats. Well Real AOR/NWU fabric will have the ACE or Anchor Constitution Eagle with USN lettering. There's alot of fakes out there so i've been cautious buying it. As for CADPAT. Canada has been making CADPAT since 1996 so there have been at least 3 major generations of uniform. Its difficult to find the specifics but slight changes in features such as cut, coloration and things such as pocket design are the most telling. I think the newest stuff has button covers like the USMC MCCUU, with slightly darker coloration from older stuff. Genuine CADPAT is technically not to be sold to the public much like MARPAT due to IR defeating tech, and has spawned many copycats. Any CADPAT clothing in ACU cut is not genuine CADPAT. I have had a hard time finding any official guidelines though. I'll get back to you on that. Have you checked out the A-TACs website? They have a grand list of all items in A-TACs camouflage. I like both the A-TACs AU and A-TACS FG Camos. They also have a new one called A-TACs LE or Law Enforcement.

I think Multicam is more effective than ATT when there is more green in the environment. If you watch PART I to this video I think you'll see what I'm talking about. In this video though I think ATT is more effective than MC. I think ATT has a little bit more tan/brown based than MC is. They're both great camouflages though and both work in these environments for sure.

The AOR2 NWU III with the USN navy symbol (NOT Globe & Anchor-Sorry!) is available at rrt_trading_post on Ebay, along with many other fabrics/camos, in case I didn't mention it elsewhere.

From all of the patterns you've shown in this channel, this seems the least effective, by far. I've immediately spotted you in all the scenes, both in this fall video and in the summer one.. Really a bad camouflage from what I've seen. Great work on the test nevertheless :D

+InsaneBassNinja dude, Brent0331 has a really extensive military experience. Go check his own videos on camouflage and concealment... if he wanted to, we wouldn't find him in a thousand years. But that's not the idea of his "camouflage test" series, but to check the effectiveness on the pattern by displaying it in different scenarios, with different levels of concealment. And yes, it is a pattern fail, as most others (there are dozens in this channel) provide better results for the same conditions
