I think you have a mistake in hellstone ore. It cant be mined by gold/platinum pick but demonite/crimtane pick

Is there any way to know what hard mode ores you'll get before entering hard mode? I always get cobalt, orichalcum, and adamantite. Shimmering the ores only works for orichalcum, the other two just get worse.

You can disable autosave, break the altars and if if it's not what you want just close the game without saving and repeat the process until you get the ones you want. Otherwise, go fishing
