Lyrics:
Have not the strongest
And closest ties been bound so long
I've called upon them
They remind me where I'm from
With deep conviction
I am connected cross the miles
With out them nothing worth relying on
It's been so long since I could say
I've needed anything stronger
We can't give up if we have ties that bind us
If I rely and I know the strength
In those who taught me ofthe
Power in the ties that bind
When I turn inward
And look for strength within my self
And demonstrations of courage
Are the result
If inspiration is wholly shared
Then more is the gain
Then I will follow
The selfless actions displayed

I'm here because of something really crazy I was digging in the yard with my 3-year-old son and I said I used to dig here when I was a little boy and he said me too a long time ago before you were here so I said wow and I always ask him about like past life weird questions to see what he would say and he said and I asked him actually what was your name back then and then I watched him start to dig deep in his mind and he started to say a couple little words trying to spit it out and he said chiron. Later that night I Googled that name and punched in his birthday with it too and come to find out chiron is an astrological marvel, and it's an asteroid that was in a special orbit the day he was born. And the day he was born was a rare wolf moon. 10/01/20. Chiron was also the teacher of Achilles. I'm blown away so I go and do his birth charts and woah... it's insane what I seen. THERE IS NO COINCIDENCES!!

That guy's guitar playing was the whole reason I listened to this band. Breathtaking, the first time I listened to the overcome album. Thoughts of his death bring my mind to this passage in Scripture: Ezekiel 33: 11 As surely as I live, says the Sovereign LORD, I take no pleasure in the death of wicked people. I only want them to turn from their wicked ways so they can live. Turn! Turn from your wickedness, O people of Israel! Why should you die?

No disrespect but what exactly is the difference between traditional and “normal”? I’m not a drummer myself so I don’t know but I’m curious
@Scavija
@Scavija 2 жыл бұрын
@@keegan959 A very valid question! A traditional grip (the "normal" grip being commonly called a "matched" grip) is when the drummer uses a different grip for each hand, the dominant stick being held straight forward away from your body and the other stick held at 90 degree angle from your body. It's not shown much in the video, but a few of the clips very briefly shows the drummer playing with this grip. A big difference between a matched grip where the drummer holds both sticks the same way and a traditional grip is how you leverage the muscles in your wrists, both grips having their pros and cons but either one being completely valid and useful. You don't see a lot of traditional grip in genres like metal, so it's always really cool when it does happen. My definitions are probably not 100% accurate, but I hope it gives you an idea!

Esta fue una de las primeras canciones del metal que escuche, por alla del 2010. Que recuerdos ♡

God I remember not knowing this band at all and then i went to a Killswitch Engage concert in cologne back in maybe 2005 or so. I was planning to chill for the first two bands and then go crazy when KE starts. Well went a little bit different because ATR where the first support band and the first song was This Calling. I immediately ran into the circle pit and didn't left for the whole evening. Had a tinitus for three days after that. One of the best evenings of my life.
