With his skill and versatility Jason could really be doing anything he wants. But he didn't want this band to die with Oli. I was awesome of Phil to understand that ATR has a built in fan base and could afford to wait til Jason's prior obligations were handled. Win for ATR, win for Phil, win for Jason and win for the fans. Look I love down tuned, syncopated, polymetric staccato riffs as much as everyone else, but it's nice to have some real deal metalcore and deathcore in the metal zeitgeist

A band I thought had fallen off has instead had a renaissance (it's a shame Oli isn't here to witness the fruits of his labor because Victim of the New Disease was the spark). Jason Richardson as his replacement was an (ultimately unwanted, RIP Oli) unexpected surprise. There are a lot of bands who have made serious comebacks lately. Trivium, In Flames, etc. have turned the corner. The singles are a good sign. I hope ATR comes back in full force!

J. Richardson is an amazing player, so precise, vibrato, bends, this cat can do it all. We all miss Oli, THE WIZARD, in my opinion, J. Richardson, was the best fit, for ATR, they're still creating killer music, I'm sure, Oli is looking down, proudly
