Lyrics:
No more
No more are the days that I will
Fear for I have found a strength that
None can match and I'll push forward
Never has the blood in my veins
Flowed so fiercely as when I feel this around me
I am whole
I'm not alone with the touch of your hand I am whole again
I'm not alone with the touch of your hand I am whole again
Now I feel the passion burning
This what drives me further
Strengthens my resolve to push me further
And I believe, that I am not alone
Give me hot steel, go
No more are the days that I will
Fear for I have found a strength that
None can match and I'll push forward

I live for commenting on posts like this; alive or just breathing, constitution of treason, gone forever, the art of balance, an ocean between us, armamentarium, antigone, deaf to our prayers, elegy, shadows are security, ember to inferno, ascendancy, shogun, the oncoming storm, in the eyes of fire, this darkened heart, the poison , killing with a smile, of love and lunacy, undoing ruin, when everything falls, ...

Why is everyone bitching about them getting softer? It shouldn't matter how soft, or hard they grow to be, it matters if it kicks ass. And they're newer stuff does. If you don't like it or agree, move on. If you have an open mind and are willing to use it, ten check out they're newer stuff.

I do have to agree with you. Take for example how a band called Avenged Sevenfold went from metalcore to thrash/extreme metal to 80s rock. Their songs kicked ass eventough i did not favour the 80s rock genre

2006 is one of the best era of Metalcore. So many great band with they're best album. ATR 'Fall of Ideals' is one of them. For me this is classic Metalcore album.

The Fall of Ideals was the first really 'heavy' album I listened to. So many good memories with it. I miss the old ATR. Wish that thier modern stuff could have the same energy and power that their earlier stuff did. They still hold a special place in my heart however...

Im seriously tired of being made fun of for listening to this music. They listen to hip hop and even country. This speaks the damn truth, about real life situations. This music is real and from the heart. Metal Core will LIVE ON!!! \m/(-_-)\m/

No it's just relevant, no one cares about selling out if the music doesn't start becoming crap but they clearly just wanted to keep playing music but ran out of good ways to make their music so they just started playing it safe and making something accessible and easy to record/play live and have lost all of their former aggression and distinctness. It's more about being sad for a band losing their soul and energy than being mad at a band "selling out" because why would that matter, they're not a punk band.

***** They're making the music they wanna make. I don't think it has anything to do with anything else besides that. They're not trying to play to the strongest crowd, and I don't think it's anyone's place to say they've lost anything. They're sticking to what they want, and that's what every band should do.

ikantspelgud1 "They wanna make" aka what makes them the most money without having to challenge themselves musically, I can't really blame them it must be awesome to get to play music to loving fans regularly, but you can't even make the argument that they haven't lost the distinct energy they used to have. They've gone soft and become safe record label pups, but if you enjoy their new sound there's nothing wrong with that.

Jordan I'm getting back to this over a year later, but oh well. I just don't agree with this sentiment. First, you think their past 2 albums have been about money. The Order Of Things and Madness are not nearly as popular as their early stuff. Like I said, it's not about money or pleasing a label. They make this music because THEY like it, nothing else.

If a band you "like" can't put out a ballet like "What If I was Nothing" then you're a little too much of a metal head, go listen to Deicide or Meshuggah where every song sounds the same. Gotta mix it up to grab all the fans you can get, don't blame them at all. Listen to "No knock" off of the new album, doesn't sound too soft to me ..
