Eh, it's got two great songs, but to me the album feels far too samey and a little cheesy. If you haven't heard a lot of metalcore aside from the melodic/commercial stuff, then I recommend the following: All We Love Behind (and pretty much any Converge album) New Junk Aesthetic (party Metalcore? I remember when they played on Jimmy Kimmel, lol) The Always Open Mouth (hard to categorize, but very unique) Option Paralysis (very mathy metalcore, but not aimless) We Are The Romans (The guitarist from Minus the Bear used to be in this band) The Living Infinite (this is the most similar to All That Remain's style, but they have death metal influences/origins) Tree of Tongues (pretty unknown band, which is a shame) I'm just guessing that you haven't heard a lot of metalcore though. Maybe I'm wrong, and I apologize if I am. I just remember that Killswitch Engage and All That Remains were some of he very first metalcore bands I had heard (about a decade ago now!). They're very accessible bands though! A good start for people who haven't heard metalcore.

My Coins Your Purse I’ve listened to quite a bit of metalcore. I agree the lyrics on fall of ideals are a bit cheesy, however from a composition and production standpoint and for being a pretty mainstream band I definitely think this stands as one of the best of all time. Converge is one of my favorite bands. I love Misery Signals, Zao, Parkway Drive, Killswitch. Metalcore is a very broad genre
