The Ridgid kit is the high torque hammer drill with the 4 mode impact driver. If you choose the most expensive two tools for free, the combo is $184 and change in your cart. It’s one of the best hacks so far.

That’s because Home Depot knows that people will buy the same deal. They outsell Lowe’s every year with the same deals. The one that is different this year is the Ridgid high torque hammer drill combo with the 4 mode impact driver. That combo just hit the shelves at the beginning of this year.

@@yorkrojas1452 Don’t feel bad. I returned everything I bought last year. I’m not buying anything this year until I see if Lowe’s has a good deal on the power tools I want. They usually have better deals than Home Depot, but Home Depot still outsells them. If Lowe’s doesn’t have the deal I’m hoping for, I’ll probably get the Ridgid hammer drill combo since the two free tools are hackable.

Some are same, but different price. Like ME personally, I bought the 290 piece tool set from Husky. BUT I bought it at 150$ not 169. I know what they did there. Also I bought the wratchet wrench set for like 60$ back in 2021. BUT that was like 30 pieces. These wrenches are what like 24?? I personally bought the Allen wrenches & the 144 tooth wratchet this year because I have plenty of tools i bought already.

The husky 14 dollars for 3 lifetime tools is insane I have 6 pairs of both but will be buying two extra sets to throw in truck. Btw the battery deal for rigid is fucking insane. It is lifetime warranty get there 8ah now while you can get them for 89 each. Even if the TV update the batteries you warrenty them for the updated versions. Christ it's so dam good it makes me sick

Just went today and got the $99 Ryobi battery deal and got the free Leaf blower. It’s my first time buying into Ryobi. I needed a leaf blower bad and it was the cheapest route. I’m going back tomorrow and stocking up on M12 xc 3.0 batteries with the 2 for $79

Having purchased the Milwaukee leaf blower myself you are almost certainly better off with the Ryobi. It's one of the best Ryobi tools (measuring relative to other manufacturers/ labels), along with their glue guns. The Milwaukee leaf blower is a disappointment.

I snagged a couple things but I think the tool selection on the free tools was better last year. I did finally get the one handed DeWalt recip saw because it was 99 and sky rocketed in price then got the Ryobi caulk gun seemed like a solid deal

I have a question about the Ridgid promo. The hammer drill combo is available in my store, but the ratchet and right angle impact are not. Since those are the most expensive free tool options, they are the ones that make the most sense for the hack. I don’t see any discrepancy in my cart, but can I just order everything from the website, pick up the hammer drill combo, and have the free tools shipped to the store?
