All The Bells; St John's Church, Knaresborough - Practice

So that Knaresborough could participate in Martin Creed's Work No. 1197, the bell ringers decided to invite non-ringers to come and have a practice at chiming the church bells to give an opportunity to as many people as possible to participate. This was one of a handful of practice sessions for a group of novices who will band together at 0812 on the morning of 27th July to help "all the bells in a country rung as quickly and loudly as possible for three minutes" 12 hours before the commencement of the opening ceremony of the London Olympic Games at 2012 hours.
