Great selections! I too, loved the Secret Garden as a child and am always on the hunt for a full version illustrated book like I remembered. I found an abridged illustrated copy and have started reading it to my granddaughter. I always loved it. If you want two great book titles I’ve recently read, How to Read a Book and One Day in December were both excellent.

Those temperatures! If I didn’t want to be around family I’d head down there for the winters. Menopause changed me from cold loving to heat loving. It did for my mom as well & in fact I insist I had cold flashes instead of hot flashes. Anyone else do this?

Great list! But I cracked up bc you wear fleece lined leggings when it’s 60 outside. I wore my fleeced leggings to a football game here in Ohio when the temp was 25. It’s all relative. 😂

@@lizlane5974 I exaggerate a little. I’ll wear a sweater when it’s 60 but the fleece is for the low 50’s/40’s. But then I’m outside when it’s close to 100° and it’s not awful (although I don’t love it). It’s definitely all relative!

I live in Wa state and it does get cold here and I love wearing the fleece lined leggings mailing because I have poor circulation in my ankles and calves and these are the only thing that helps, but I can’t wear them all the time. I’ve tried compression socks, but no go there either. ❤
