Another cool feature - while charging, if you approach the car without the key, you can see the state of charge etc in the instrument pack (dashboard) by pressing the door lock button.

Hi, thannks for your Videos. They help me a lot with my new ZS EV. Two more questions pls: 1. Is there any recuperation when you drive whith Auto Pilot ? The screen never goes below 0 when the car reduces speed / brakes ore does it just use the normal Brakes. 2. Is there an option for folding the side mirrows wihout closing the car in Parking mode ? It would help for driving throu the car wash. Thx for your help.

Yes, the mirror adjustment selector knob, twist it to the middle setting, then push it down as though you were going to adjust your mirror. Mirrors will fold in.

1. No recuperation on cruise control. 2. Yes, you can push the mirror adjust switch down and it will fold in.

Not as far as I know. All the EVs have regen braking.

How do you access the "engineering mode" in mk2 of the mg zs EV? That's what everyone wants to know!

No idea lol. It’s not something any manufacture will encourage you to gain access to anyway. Engineering mode exits for engineers not for everyday users.

Does the screen switching off/on also work when the car is on? I generally don't like the screen to be on especially at night. Ra5her than swipe down and tap on the eyelash icon (which is a distraction with grim consequences), I would like to hold down the home key. But that trick does not seem to work in my Essence 2022. Is there an easy and safe way to swith the screen on and off without all the song and dance? Although I like the scrren to be off while driving, I would like it to come on by itself whe reversing.

Question - I have the Australian 22 version. Does your car throw a wobbly and get angry if you try to reverse without your seatbelt on? I.E I can’t reverse without a seatbelt on, however, I can drive forward without it on😂

Never heard of that. Did you release the handbrake?

@@JerryPanandCars Handbrake is automatic on / off, but nonetheless won’t disengage unless my seatbelt is buckled up.
