A game I loved that was super cosy and touching was Sable. It's free on PS5 with PS plus. Would definitely recommend

I’ve actually really enjoyed Fashion Dreamer, but I can definitely understand why so many aren’t big fans. The updates to the game are making it better in my opinion, but I don’t know why they released it incomplete and missing even basic features.

i was soooo looking forward to Fashion Dreamer. It is the Switch Game from the Devs of the New Style Boutique/Style Savvy Games for the 3DS. Those were a very light shop simulation, where you took over a Shop and had to stock the different brands, fulfill the customers wishes and had to some fashion shows and what not. Each Title in the Series was a bit different and expanded on the clothing catalogue. Fashion Dreamer is a new concept, as the Devs couldn't continue the Shop-Series, as they're property of Nintendo. So they came up with this. At first i loved the fashion, but it got boring so quick. I'm back at playing the older titles.

It’s funny how you mention the switch ports can be clunky, I agree. I also wish that games made for switch were instead on the Nintendo DS. I actually loved that console so much. The gamepad acted as being able to use a mouse, and we still had all of the arrow key and button functionality that phones don’t have. I wish we went back to Nintendo DS consoles, I really love it, and it’s so portable. I can’t say the same for the switch.

Honestly would be so happy if they announced a new gen 3DS, like the switch is amazing but the 3DS was an incredible handheld console

I feel like Fashion Dreamer is honestly just for kids and I keep trying to remind myself of that lol. I played the original style savvy when I was younger and LOVED it because it had a cute story, so I was hoping for something similar, but it just wasnt it unfortunately :( i hope we get another game at some point that feels like the original style savvy felt like! I also felt the same about the wonder life remake, i was obsessed with playing it for a week, but compared to all of the other farming sims we have now, it just doesn't hold up imo since there wasnt any major mechanic or gameplay update to it. (and also not adding flora as a romance option smh)

As someone who have never played any Harvest moon or Story of seasons, would you recommend "A wonderful life"?

It’s probably better to start with other farming sims if you haven’t played them either (Stardew or I have a whole video with other recs) but if you’re looking to start with Story of Seasons, personally I think Pioneers of Olive Town is really good

@@arikari3672 Ooh if you like JRPGs, I’d suggest Graveyard Keeper or Moonstone Island then! My Time at Portia also has some good elements you’d probably like Stardew is heavily inspired by Harvest Moon, so Story of Seasons might still not hit for you honestly

I hate how bad many switch ports of indie games are. Now that we have a steam deck I feel safer getting it on PC as I can play it on steam deck and if it runs weird on there I still have my PC. After I had bad times with children of Morta and my partner had a bad time with Cozy Grove on the switch, kinda stopped buying indie games on the switch.
