I really enjoyed the Six of Crows duology (surprisingly much more than the Shadow and Bone books, even though they’re set in the same world). My favorite of her books, though is the Ninth House series. I think it could possibly be right up your alley as it takes place at Yale and definitely has dark academia vibes.

If you’re looking for a book recommendation from someone who has a really similar reading style to you (I have loved sooo many of your recommendations) I really recommend Kala by Colin Walsh! An Irish mystery about a group of friends around our age looking back on their teen years. So nostalgic and eerie and the settling is beautiful and stifling at the same time. I’m making everyone I know read this book lol, it’s my favourite of 2023 x
