Nice map! Several points : -Scandinavia should be added to the Catholic part, as that was the religion before the reformation. -What exactly counts as heretic? Any denomination that is neither Catholic, Orthodox, or Protestant? If so, there should be many more small pockets of heretic territory. Hussites, for one, unless they're counted as protestant. -Might be worthwhile to separate protestant and heretic christians into different shades. -I would also merge all pagan religions into one map, separating them based on pantheons/traditions. (Roman pantheon, greek paganism, germanic pagans, etc.), while remaining the same map. -What does 'controlled' mean in this context? Having a majority population? Ruled over by a state/ruler of that religion? I assume the latter? -I assume that by "atheist" you mean secular governments? Disregarding the political aspect, I think it would be more interesting if it was separated into 'secularism' and 'state atheism' as those are entirely different That's all for now, best of luck to you in your future maps!

So Romania has been Orthodox, Catholic, Hellenic pagan, Asian pagan, atheist/communist and Muslim. I think that's the highest number, at least that I could find, in any one country, according to this.

@@melta 10% actually, and you’re missing the point, not every religion caused death has been the result of a war. Nothing but money and land has killed as many people as it. It’s literally meant to pit people against eachother. Religion will ALWAYS separate people who believe that their version of “god” is the one true god. If humanity focused more on science and less on metaphysical bs we would be much better off as a species. “Religion is the opium of the people”
