As an American, I had never heard of Eurovision before but I loved the movie. I assumed these unknown faces to me were stars from past contests and I am now a fan and I am looking forward to watching ESC in 2021 hopefully LIVE. I don't know how I can watch it live but I'll find out.

Actually Eurovision Live shows are restricted by copyright in USA by KZbin. You have to look for watch the show in an embassy or in a TV channel. I had same problems with Eurovision when I was living in NY.

I’d recommend using a VPN when watching since, like MortenLongbottom said, it’s copyright restricted in the US. Otherwise, I know LogoTV broadcasted the contest in the US, I don’t know if they’re still going to do that though

@@filipaduarte2101 only if it is not geo-blocked for the U.S./Canada. There are 10 big TV stations which are associate members to the EBU and I think one of them will broadcast the ESC 2021 live or if the contract with Netflix is still "on" - then they will show it (but not live).

I was pleasantly surprised by 'The Story of Fire Saga'. As a fan of ESC, I was very skeptical that it'd treat the show badly, but it did a really good job at treating the show well. Even the songs were at a high standard. Husavik would've challenged for top 5, Lion of Love and Double Trouble maybe bottom left/top right. Obviously i can nit pick stuff (7 people on stage at one point) but overall it was seriously good.

The songs even have that special Eurovision vibe (well except for Katyana/Demi Lovato's song, which was too American). It would be really funny if in 2021, Molly Sandén would get to perform "Husavik" during the voting, with Rachel Adams & Will Ferrell acting as "backup dancers".
