There was a wild fox that used to come see me when I had my break at work. I used to sit outside and eat my lunch and regular as clockwork he would come along, sit 5 feet from me and wait for me to share my lunch with him. This went on for months. Then, one day when I came out he didn't come so I went looking. Found him in the road, dead after being hit by a car, probably on his way to see me. Don't mind admitting, I cried thay day.

Unlike dogs and cats, these foxes get neutered and spayed mainly so they can't breed, which is important as they're only bred for their fur and as a result suffer from health defects.

Cats and dogs are difficult enough, but exotic pets are much harder to care for and the question is why you would want one in the first place. It always worries me when people in the commentary section here say that they want to get a fox, especially if those people seem like they're young. If they have a parent that gets them everything they want, a fox could be the next pet surrender.
