Cheers for all the explanations. It's nice to hear the thought process behind certain build decisions. Hopefully you'll be doing a similar vid when the Corsair 9000D comes out. Although that video might go for an hour... 😅

Not sure why corsair doesn’t just make white variants of all their products, they already have most of their pc components in white and some peripherals, but not sure why they don’t have full white monitors and their desks in white too (not the actual table top but everything attached to it exactly how you painted yours)
@GGFEvents3 ай бұрын
@@ItsYurVatoAlex white is still very new to the PC market and sometimes having too many skus can actually have a negative impact on a company. Their desk is quite new so I guess they only started it in black to see how well it would go.

@@GGFEventsthat makes sense, I’m a big fan of all white setups and Corsair is my preferred brand. Would love to see more white products from them eventually so I can build myself something very similar to what you just built, cheers!

Appreciate the video! I was wondering where you got (or how you made) that little cover that disguises your pump on your XD7? I’m installing mine in the 6500x case as well and want to hide that ugly pump. Any guidance is appreciated. Thanks!

@@carlypeterson9753 thank you. That is just vinyl. I put a white layer down first then cut one out as the Corsair logo.

Am I reading the spec right? RM850 PSU for a 14900K and 4090? The first thing I did when I bought a 4090 was upgrade to a 1200W power supply…from my Corsair HX850.

Elgato thing looks awesome. Is it useful for someone who is not streaming? :)
@GGFEvents3 ай бұрын
@@BleepBlop-rh9lm I don't stream and since I was sent the white one in the video I then bought a black one for my personal setup and love it. I actually use it to control my smart lighting when I film. Super useful and feel they have so many more advantages than just streaming

I thought rhe corsair cases had tons of issues?

@@TechnicaX some of the outer panels are questionable and a bit flimsy, plus the HDD should be removed for BTF but overall and as you can see with this build it worked out alright

@@anthrussell23 I guess their middle desk model isn't that bad for 1499 and currently has 15% off. That gives you everything apart from the peg board. You do get a dual monitor arm and the t-rail for mounting monitors too.

@@GGFEvents My comment isn’t a reflection of your work (it’s always top notch). It’s general frustration with the consumer effects of brand marketing on KZbin. While I may be a minority here, I take issue with brand leaders like Corsair, Nvidia, and others, using their supply chain, R&D, and distribution advantages to raise the cost of hobbiest PC building/gaming for everyone, and seeing these brands showcased on virtually every channel I enjoy is frustrating. This is also happening with virtually every other hobby I enjoy (reef keeping and videography), and I’m tired of it. Perhaps I’m becoming an old, grumpy, anti-consumerist. I’m probably a minority here, and I understand that. You’re running a business, and I understand that their sponsorship helps to keep the lights on. I simply don’t like the products, or the company, and I apologize if my tone was disrespectful.
