One of the best episodes. And i totally side with you Surbhi on the questions you asked and the statements you made. Why just the parlor aunty, even a random neighbour or an insignificant colleague can ruin the peace by commenting on one's appearance. Both the guests said, it's their job they have targets, but the fact is they don't give recommendations to extremely fair and stunning people. And the one at the receiving end knows it. In one of her interviews, Vidya Balan mentioned that Indians have an annoying habit of asking questions about appearance or commenting on looks. Indians do that. And thank you for advising to never point out or comment on something that can't be fixed immediately. I follow that. But I still sometimes have to deal with "no kajal today, are you sick?" or "looking darker than last time".😂

I went to a saloon for a blow dry last month ( side note i have frizzy hair have always been insecure of that ) . She asked me why is your hair so weak & dry don’t you ever use a hair conditioner? 😂 My answer was yes i do , the same brand you sell see how bad is this product. Though you can be all sassy & give sarcastic replies but it still effects deep down.

I think they need to understand that a lot of their clients do have brains to understand their marketing gimmicks... They can't benefit by irritating the customer... I don't remember re-visiting a parlour/salon after they've used these gimicks on me... Well, one of the reasons I have been able to do that, is that I don't go that often... But it's very irritating... Another thing that is irritating is how they blame the parlour where you got your eyebrows done last time in advance, because they know they are going to ruin your eye brows... Jab yaad dilao ki unhi ke yahan se karaya tha, to chup....
