The Anti-Raiden Shogun Training was the best setup in the quest to know just how strong Raiden is lore-wise, and engages you to upgrade your skill. It was an eye-opener for me because I didn't realize I suck that much in dodging and thought what would happen if I reached Snezhnaya, heck even just Natlan, without that skill level. It was real hard but after 17 attempts I finally did it. It's a shame that it's somehow useless in the real fight, but the accomplishment I felt that time as I dodge most of her attacks until the game just want to finish me and continue on the quest is fulfilling and funny on its own. End of Yap.

The encounter points save up is just the best! I can freely explore the new area, without having to save chests for future dailies. You just need to keep in mind, that if you DONT want to use your longterm points, to FIRST do dailies, then use resin. Because they are depleted automatically Edit: - If you look in your handbook (F1), and have 0 commisions completed and use resin -> longterm points get automatically used (if you have any) to complete the comissions. Rest of the process is like with encounter points (click to claim the rewards and then go to Adventure Guild to collect bonus) - If you have done 4 dailies by either doing actual comissions or opening chests/doing story/events etc, using resin doesn't do anything it wouldn't normally do. Instead, all further encounter points are stored in what seems like the same ratio as encounter points would do. So once you are done with dailies, the counter will go up. 1 longterm point will be 1 daily when used.

Like the Hydro one that extends skill CD forces you to play characters that aren't reliant on their skill, like Ganyu. It's not hard but just makes it painfully slow. That domain and the stamina Cryo one were the entire reason I dreaded material farming in Monstadt because it was gonna be a long, boring farm.

Man the dailies update is the best update ever Edit- ok some people seem to not know about the dailies update and this vid also missed that, so basically in pervious versions you have to like open 8 chests(i am using basic example here ik there are many ways to get them) to get 4 commissions worth of encounter points if you open any more chest after that the encounter points will not count but in this update they added something called long term encounter points which basically is that you can do exploration and quests without the worry of losing encounter points because the extra points get accumulated now which you can use by spending 30 original resin any time whenever you are not in mood of doing the dailies just spend resin or condense them and your dailies will be done, these long term encounter point reset every x.0 patch so the current one will reset in 5.0 and then 6.0

Recent player here, I never brought anemo in that domain ever. I only ever used Kaeya to freeze, Bennett to melt and vaporize, Barbara for vaporize and just kept targeting the pyro mage first on that domain 😭

As a gensin vet Noblesse Oblige used to be my favorite domain to farm. I had to level up my Xinyan, craft fire def potions and stack up food items just to clear this domain. The homing fire balls is difficult to evade due to stamina issues and I dont have sucrose to cheese it. A single run lasts for about 5-8 minutes. All of that to work to have a single piece of bloodstain artifact that no one uses. Good memorable times where Genshin is still difficult.

Well to sum up the whole controversy, some people on twitter were offended by the lack of skin color diversity of Natlan character - which are heavily based on Aztec and Latin American's culture. Some blamed this on Hoyoverse's racism, bringing the best out of those culture and leaving all the individual behind. While other defends the by saying that Genshin is just a fictional world so no need for people on Twitter to get offended. I personally would want more representation in the Game to honor their culture. But I don't agree with the way people are protesting instead of actually adressing Hoyoverse directly, so it's seem like a lose lose situation for both side

The domains needed the nerf a long time ago. The water domains was near impossible to do without specific units and the icicles one was near impossible without navia specifically because the icicles rain down on you and steal your stamina instantly. Then there's the blizzard domain from dragonspine that was impossible thanks to the cryo mage who wouldn't die.

You can try using mid units to spice up the challenge, especially for abyss. I'm someone who actively avoids the premium overused units like Bennett or Xingqiu. Usually I try to just limiting myself to 1 at most, like Kazuha in my Arlecchino melt team.

about thespian tricks (pose for photo shoot) we actually need them to give us more wide selection of characters at once and just update that list every new version or two so we can buy our favourite waifus pose (well actually it's not that important) now, the most important thing, echoes/trails, ohh that is beautiful but really only these characters now (i need furina/ei/arle/clor echoes now !!!)

ooh there's a lot of nostalgia here, i haven't done so many of these domains in ages, i was doing mondstadt talent domain recently for childe and noticed the pain is gone. y'know there are guide videos for the domains? for instance noblesse oblige domain you wanted to bring a geo character like ningguang or noelle and if i'm remembering right walk 4 stars forward and then go left until there were 2 stars to the wall, there was this sweet spot in the top left hand corner where all 3 abyss mages would teleport to if you went there, then it was just a matter of either ningguang being a shotgun or noelle with SPEEEN! good times, you could get it cleared in under a minute with that guide and that doesn't seem crazy but this is 2021 where we all had no clue about anything but we all felt that clearing a domain faster would mean better rewards this is nonsense of course, i've gone afk for 40 minutes in a domain and finished it and gotten multiple 4 star books.

My bet, maybe there will be future characters that are needed of that said materials on the de-buffed domains. The most obvious was one was the domain of Crimson Witch of Flames Artifact cause the next region will be a Fire Nation.

That's why co-op exists but seems like nowadays 5years olds are joining GI. I never had any problem in my times, co-op was solution to everything.

Gone are the days where I have to feel like I have to explore to find those domains if I could just teleport to it now even if it is still locked huh~ And since I'm not really into to spiral abyss I do some times like the challenges the domains hold and based on it I change the team setup sometimes~ At some point there'd probably be just a quick finish so long as you've done it once and just do it in the map without going to the actual domain place heh~

wtf is "more easy"? lmao rather than make it easier, they just make the older domain less annoying since old domain is not really "hard", just obnoxious and tedious overtime. So unless you still farm the old domains, the nerf is intended for new player who might also play hsr and/or zzzero so material domain farmings are faster and they have enough time to play other hoyo games

So I kinda liked how difficult all those farming domains were xD It was challenging & fun honestly. Now everything is easy & dies at the drop of a (Lyney's) hat but those were good times for a jobless person. We really suffered in all those domains for nothing. I started planning on building and saving primos for specific characters because of those domains. Like getting Kazuha for Noblesse Oblige, or staring at each other because we didn't bring a bow character to knock down the Ruin Hunter. Ah, so much memories😢

Competition is all it takes to bring out the best from anyone. They might have never added this if not for Wuwa. Genshin is still better i think. In a lot of aspects. Its nice to see both companies doing their hardest to try to outperform the other... We the players enjoy the rewards.

the difficulty of the domains is what made it fun for me, it incentivised co op more. now every enemy will just get one shot cause the 75% damage bonus and there’s zero challenge

Okay...I understand the domain nerfs are supposed to help newer players, but I will use a personal experience I had in nobless domain as an example. I never used anemo in there, always pyro for the cryo mage, hydro for pyro mage and electro to help with all 3 (dendro did not exist back then so...). I was MINDBLOWN when I joined a co-op and saw a guy using Sucrose to suck everyone up and make things SO MUCH easier, it was a really fun experience and I learned a cool new way to do the domain and later on I repassed the strategy when helping new players too. But now new players will not go through the same experience because of the nerf and imo it really sucks...again I understand some players just wanna go auto pilot and clear domains without much difficult but I dont think making these domains THIS EASY was the right way...just my thoughts tho.

One thing that wasn’t mentioned but has occurred is some graphic changes on characters for console players. The animation is much more crisp and looks like it renders way better. You can find the patch notes on their website and it mentions this!

1:19 the nerf description of the domain does not match with 1:15. Only by triggering overloaded hurts the players, not Melt. Triggering Melt hits enemies with an Energy Blast and deals damage to enemies only. The new domain buff is simplified and it favors more towards Hydro DPS and Vaporise elemental reaction.

They removed the last bit of challenge outside Abyss. If they are going to go that route, 1) let me just buy artifact rolls with resin without a battle (autoskip), or 2) let me spend 200 resin at once to get it over with.

Love the new hide HUD and stored encounter points! I just wish they also hid the "Left Ctrl+H Show UI" and "X" in photo mode. It completely disappears when using a controller, but with KBM, it's always there.

Playing since 1.1. I didn't learn how to properly build characters until Sumeru. Then when I finally learned how to build characters , I wanted to level up their respective weapons. And those Monstabt domains , destroyed me in every way. I gave up on monstabt weapons and talent materials and just spent all my resin on upgrading characters and artifacts. Last month I decided to man up and spent all my resin everyday on upgrading like 9 monstabt weapons( favonius weapons, festering, stringless, etc.) And they drop this right after. I LOVE THIS GAME.

The mondstadt talent domain was the one I really felt like tough in my early days, I remember procarisnating a lot doing that domain lol... Well the weapon domains weren't that hard for me as I had Nahida very early game and I cleared them by spamming her NA and short CD skill without much pain... Well good for new players, farming domains should not be tough as you are pretty much progressing from scratch with those domains... Well I had a lot of memories with those domains, I made a lot of friends by helping them with those domains, esp the dragonspine one, literally half of my friend list is them who are now clearing endgame and all, I feel happy and proud of myself seeing their progress😌...

I'm a bit salty that the domain changes didn't happen a year ago, where I was just starting the game. The domain debuffs and penalty was absolute pain especially for those who were still new to the game, which pretty much forced me to spam the coop button just so I could level up the weapons I had. I'm glad that newbies won't have to go through all that shit where you get punished for simply not having the right characters.

I guess the purpose of those pre-nerfed domains is to make players familiarize with Abyss higher floor effects and challenges. Later down the line, this helped me familiarize on what to expect when tackling the Abyss. The nerf is actually good for starting players and farming for materials should not be this challenging. They could've set incremental difficulty for these domains depending on world level, but well we do all know that Hoyo devs were late with the fixes, improvements, quality of life etc.
